I’m wondering how to defeat Vermillion’s wings – Ushan’s fallen wings Honran? If you think the ordinary commander Honglan is bad news, wait until you face her second iteration at Endgame. Called Vermillion’s Feather – Honglan, the mutated version of this commander who kicked our butt early is back, and feather disease has mutated her, even more annoying than ever.
Vermilion Feathers -Honglan is a completely optional boss. So you don’t need to defeat her to advance in the game. But if you’re trying to go 100% with a playthrough or if you’re trying to achieve one of the four endings, I recommend doing so. This guide will explain exactly How to beat Vermillion’s featherhelp you defeat her completely for the count.

How to beat Vermillion’s feather
The first version of Honglan is a hard boss, which occurs very early in most cases in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, and forces players to deepen their understanding of the game’s skill tree and weapon system or disappear. That’s not the case in her second incarnation. By the time you reach Vermillion’s feather, Hon Ran, you’re near the end of the game and have an Arsenal at your own freedom. She’s still very Challengingly, you can defeat her by tweaking the setup and following tips.
Get burned
Burns are the most reliable and consistent type of damage in wuchang fallen wings, and Vermillion wings – Honlan is very susceptible to it. You’ll obviously want to use it Bone needle – flame To keep your weapon under fire damage, we also recommend equipping it as follows:
- pendant: The demon in the demon, the sun
- spell: Burning flame
- Benedict: Sheng – Burning Might, fu-burning ignition, ta-fire burn
Demon pendants are ideal for increasing fire damage at the smallest cost of low physical damage. Meanwhile, all Benedict makes burns much stronger by reducing Hongran’s health over time, making up for a minor reduction in physical damage that you may suffer.
These picks can be complemented with other gear that suits your playstyle. For example, as a one-handed sword user, I also wore an Eagle pendant.
Protects against slashes, pricks and feather damage
Vermilion Feathers – Honglan shoots down sword strikes, energy slashes with blades, and sometimes blows you up with feather magic. I found it relatively easy to dodge feather spells so my favorite gear was a mixture of Centipede and Northern General armor setboth provide great protection from slashes and stab wounds.
If you’re against it, try investing in Office, palace maid, or bird hunter All sets help minimize the damage feathering magic has.
Backstab as she surfaces
Vermillion’s Feathers – Honran will always launch a fight with the same attack, surface in the air and summon an array of red feathers to attack you. This is a great opportunity to backstab, no matter what weapon you use. Dodges her behind and crushes her with a recharged, violent attack. The expungement is instantaneous and you can use the knockdown to slam her several more times.
As the battle continues, Hon Ran proves to be extremely fast, but repeat this strategy every time he stops for a second to launch his wings. At 50% health, she is surrounded by a red aura and develops larger wings. This is another good chance for the backstab, but if her erase is not worth it enough, then back off – and Hongran is much more aggressive in the rest of the fight, as this is one of the few moments in a fight where you can certainly heal yourself.
It’s aggressive
Ideally, You want to keep the value of Hongran’s disturbance high so that you can stun her and increase the damage of her accumulated burns. This requires a certain amount of attack and continuous attack. This is difficult to maintain, but can be done if there are free-to-use etheric forms or evasive operations (two details below).
If you know what you’re doing and stay on the attack, you can actually defeat Vermillion’s feathers – Hongran within 2 minutes. Observe the following video: I do exactly that. Also, as I have suggested earlier, these cases are rare in this battle, and be aware of the moment when you choose to heal.
Use etheric form or evasion operations
The Etheric Form Spell (obtained from the corpse of Zhenwu Temple) is one of the most useful spells in the entire game, covering Wuchang with charm for a few seconds. If the enemy hits when the enemy swirls around her, an automatic dodge will arise and you can continue this dodge as long as you have the power of Skyborn. Evasive Maneuver is a weapon skill associated with DarkFrost Edge – the first one-handed sword you can find in Lightzen Temple – is the same as the etheric form found in a single weapon.
The etheric form and evasive manipulation go a long way in helping to dodge the seemingly endless hit string of Hongran. It’s fair to say that this fight is completely crazy – her attack appears to be forever, with Hongran’s perfect shape having only a small opening. But go ahead and spam these autododge options – by doing so, at least you’ll ensure that a full stack of Skybones is available when those openings appear.
If you can defeat Vermillion’s feather, Hongran gives him the putt that is worthy of him in the back. It’s one of Wouchang Fallen Feather’s most difficult bosses!
