Confined to Ushan’s Bo Sorcerer: Fallen Feathers? One of Wuchan’s trickiest bosses: fallen feathers is a Bo Sorcerer, descending from above in a deadly bird marsh. Etheric, graceful, feathered, Bo Magician is the ultimate bird specimen, but she hits like a truck and never leaves.
If Commander Honglan gives you a wounded world, the bad news: Bo Sorcerer is technically difficult and even more relentlessly attacked. And while she may be an optional boss, if you want to unleash the good and true ending, you need to beat her. In this guide, we’ll jump in How to defeat Bo Sorcerer in Wuchang: Fallen Feathersrevealing the best tactics that worked for me, along with a list of her moves.

How to defeat Bo Sorcerer in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
I defeated Bo Sorcerer at level 70 after about an hour of hard training. Shortly after clearing the first area of worship, Mt Zenu and the Bird Wetlands open, so you can technically meet her sooner. But my recommendation is to save her later and use the full boss list. It is worth working on the Southern General – liu wenxiu will first challenge at the Zhenwu temple and then to the bird marsh. He’s very easy and you level up a lot As you progress through Zhenwu Temple.
When it comes to preparing for a fight, I recommend armor that reduces attacks and protects against stabbing, but you might want something with good magic and feather relief. Bo Sorcerer is also vulnerable to corruption, so if you have a build focused on corruption through the right Benedict, if you’re lucky. Personally, I find it difficult to use anything other than magic in this game, so I’m particular about one-handed swords.
Recognizes her audio cues and visuals
The main key to defeating Bo Sorcerer is to recognize that almost all of her movements are clearly engraved in either the audio cues or the visuals. She’s so fast, so often you’re listen Her next attack before you can see it. Below is a list of her main attacks, accompanied by what she says before each move.
- “I’ll cleanse everything!” – Two big slashes with her sword, usually a drill attack, followed by forward. You can easily step beyond the slash, but you can accumulate the power of the Skybone as you need to time your evasion just before the drill hits you.
- “The Star of Heaven!” – The Bo Sorcerer will jump into the air and fire four orange energies at you. The first three are vertical and the last three are always horizontal. If you avoid it left or right, you can avoid vertical waves in pairs. The Bo Sorcerer will smash himself into the place you last stood. If this happens, try to avoid it immediately and immediately follow up with backstabs or spells – more details below.
- “Hawk and crush!” -I’m not 100% sure that the dialogue is actually here, but it certainly sounds like “hawks and crushes”. Anyway, this is a slash of two vertical swords, followed by a forward rushing slash with a rather large windup. Like her “cleansing all” attack, the first two slashes are easily avoided. The last one will need to time your evasion to gain the power of Skyborn.
- “Starfall!” – The Bo Sorcerer will jump into the air and crash at the place you last stood. Treat this like a heavenly star – dodge – follow up with backstabs and spells.
- “The Tempest got angry and made heaven own!” -This happens in the middle of the fight when she is in 50% health. Bo Sorcerer summons a tornado vortex that spins out across the arena. If this happens, unlock the camera from her and come back as much as possible. The tornado follows you, but it moves slowly and disappears in time.
- “Frost’s Blade, Thunder the Stars!” – Rarely used attacks in the second half of the battle. Bo Sorcerer summons matte icicles on top of her and throws them at you. Try running behind the arena trees for cover.
The Bo Sorcerer has several other moves that don’t have an audio cue, such as a standard sword strike here and there. Usually there is a sharp visual transmission in these movements, but I have listed them here.
You can see almost all of these movements in the video below. This also shows all the other strategies in this guide to defeating BO Sorcerer.
Attacks after “Heaven’s Stars” and “Starfall”
Every time Bo Sorcerer lands after these flashy moves, she is open for a moment wide. If you’re skilled at melee attacks, dodge her back and backstab as they are very susceptible to heavy attacks from behind. Here, the longsword with crescent moon arc skills is perfect and can stumble and erase her without too much trouble.
If you are a magic user, this is the best time to use a spell that blows her away for good damage – what stands out to you if possible – the invincible temporary frame (aka i-frames) you need to avoid hits. My favorite spell is to burn the flames. This throws Ushan backwards as she casts it. You need the power of three Skyborns, but if you continue to dodge them in this battle, you will generate Skyborns very quickly.
Take care of her glove
Bo Sorcerer’s Grab definitely sucks. It locks you in a long animation, she slaps you, then stomps you (!). It can also destroy half of your health in an instant. The best way to avoid that is to keep an eye on the overhead slashes in the second half of the fight and try to keep the distance constant. This is a good idea to save your attacks when the Bo Sorcerer lands after her “Star of Heaven” and “Starfall” movements – she is wide open at those intervals and it’s unlikely that she will grab you.
Use a tree for the cover
Thank you to someone who designed this boss arena in the corner with that lovely tree. This tree serves as a cover for those moments when you need to heal, blocking BO Sorcerer’s “Frost’s Blade” attacks. It doesn’t necessarily block the energy waves of her “Heavenly Star” but it doesn’t block her “Heavenly Star” energy waves when she needs a breather (or even makes her get stuck temporarily).
Save summons for the second half of the battle
If you regularly come across the White Robe Elder on your journey, you can summon him for this battle using the whis of bones. If you don’t have that option, we highly recommend following the steps to complete the Whitehair Elder quest line. This is a prerequisite for achieving the best outcome.
There is one caveat to this advice – try saving the summon Second half After the battle, after Bo Sorcerer said her “Tempest’s Wrath” line and began summoning water tornadoes. Anyway, there’s very little downtime to blow bone whis on the first stretch of the fight. BoSorcerer is perfect for drawing Aggro, but if you summon him too quickly he will die. Therefore, using the first half of the battle, learn the movements of the Bosorsalah and tag the elders.
