What is the best brave agent? This Valorant Tier list categorizes all agents in the game based on their potential effectiveness in the average match. The best agents in our book are those who are self-sufficient, yet have a toolkit that blends in well with others. Simply put, this tierist is perfect for high octane valorant.
As of Season 2025 Act 5 there are 27 brave characters, but not all of them are suitable to tackle the game’s current cutthroat pace. During each act of courage, different agents spend time in the sun when a balance patch is implemented. To know who is on our top Valurant Tier List Read now. If you’re a newcomer in FPS games, check out the expert choices of who you should play first at the bottom of this guide. This is a useful link.
Valurant Tier List
The best brave agents in Season 2025 Act 5 are:
Tier | agent |
s | Man, jet, time, over, owl |
a | Cypher, Iso, Neon, Gekko, Killjoy, Omen, Britstone, Phoenix, Sage |
b | Viper, Deadlock, Breach, Fade, Astra, Reyna, Kay/O, Chamber |
c | Yoro, Taeho, Wailay, Sky |
d | Port |
S layer
The S-Tier lives in Valorant’s Crème de La Crème. This is the best agent available for obvious reasons. Valorant agents in this tierlist category are the best bet if you are trying to escape Elo Hell (or want to fragment more casually) and have the right tools to counter popular strategies.
cloves
Clove is only the controller in the title. They smoke freely, but Clove’s kits are much more diverse than Brimstone and Viper, and they act as hybrid duelists. Aside from Ruse (Smokes), Clove has easy-to-throw fragments that can cause enemies to collapse temporarily, making it easy to secure takedowns.
Furthermore, when the enemy dies, the cloves absorb the essence of their lives, giving them speed of movement and temporary health, just like Reina. Oh, and if you’re killed in your ultimate, don’t worry, simply pop it and you’ll soon be brought back to life. That being said, you need to kill someone to stay that way.
jet
Jet is an agent of players who want to take a big risk but are confident they can hit a shot. She is fast, agile and can escape virtually any situation. The best jet players are the ultimate and sharp to throw blades, allowing you to navigate the arena quickly and use an operator or judge.
Jet is a duelist and her kits are all about movement. She can hover, dash, soar into the air, throw clouds that will obscure her vision for a few seconds. With the hands of skilled players, the jet can zoom straight into the site, cutting open defenses and allowing the remaining attackers to clean them. Her dashing abilities encourage people to play in unconventional and unsafe spots, as they can be shot and retreated immediately. Finally, the ultimate in jets is invaluable to skilled aimers, especially when unleashing it in the eco-round.
Raze
Raze is too simple and just helps you help pick up cheap pieces with Paint Shells Cluster Grenades and Rocket Ultimate, and you get lots of Flaks. However, she is one of the most powerful agents to clear Valorant’s usefulness. Her paint shell and blast packs are perfect for lobbing on the default Tripwire and Nanoswarm spots and buying a quick pass to the site. In defense, these same abilities are useful for slowing down pushes.
Duelist Boombots can be deployed for Intel collection and corner clearing. It is also a simple and efficient way to deflect enemy teams, allowing you to swing and shoot shots. Raze’s blast packs separate great Raze players from great players. Satchels are invaluable, but not everyone can make the most of them. The most obvious application is to unload these packs and use them to raise them to a higher position, or to quickly push and let enemies escape. Unfortunately, learning Satchel is not an easy feat, so many players choose other, simpler duelists.
Verki
Vyse has many ways to make her enemies miserable, making her a powerful sentinel in her right hand. Her shear – a hidden trap that triggers an unbreakable wall behind the agent and triggers it – is especially powerful when defending.
Her other two basic abilities – Lazollbein and Arclose – are not so powerful in her ultimate steel garden, our book. This is amazing when teams are taking part in the Eco-Round. This is because it prevents the opposition from using a rifle that they just bought. Kit aside, Vyse has one of our favorite agent designs and her visual effects are incredible.
sleep
Sova is a pure reconnaissance agent, but his ultimate is convenient to net some free kills and requires you to spend time in a decent range with pilot sova. However, with the right lineup, you can read the number of enemies piled up on a particular site.
Another initiator, Sova’s shock bolts, help clear traps, deal damage to enemies, and stop pushing. His owl drone can then be used as a follow-up to the reconnaissance bolt to acquire Inter in any area the Bolt could not see. All this makes him the best agent in the game to support pushing to the site, as Sova is equally viable in attack and defense.
Finally, there is the ultimate in soba noodles. This can be used with map ping to bring fatal blows to keymap locations like heaven and windows. Even if you can’t kill them with three arrows, you should at least be able to wash the enemies out of their position so that your team can clean them.
Layer A
Tier A agents rank higher with narrowly missing cuts, but are still very viable and remain close to the top of the tierists. Players who cannot obtain S-Tier Agent hangs can easily sail their ranks with A-Tier picks.
cypher
Cypher’s Recon Utility is a bit easier to predict and destroy if you don’t switch placements every time. Still, he is a powerful agent on the right hand, far surpassing the other sentinels on the list.
The ultimate in Cipher is highly “feast or hunger” and depends on the presence of Cipher near the fallen enemy. That being said, if you make sure the site is clear that it will be planted, or if you reveal the last couple’s enemy hidden in the corner before you, it could be a rounded ability.
ISO
ISO is an incredible duelist on TeamPlay thanks to the utilities his kit brings. Between the emergency wall that blocks his bullet and the fragile undercut orb, the flexibility of the ISO is a major tactical boon.
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have enough tricks on his sleeve to win in those 1V1s. His double tap ability, although strong in situations, can allow him to go on a rampage when the tank hits after a hit. Furthermore, by killing his ultimate ability, the contract, he isolates targets that can be placed in key positions, pulling them into a death duel, and putting “ISO” in “quarantine.”
neon
Neon can be an exceptional duelist on the right hand, but her toolkit is a double-edged sword that requires finesse and skill wielding. High Gear, for example, offers Sonic Fast Speed, but it must have a clear purpose to tackle the enemy right after pause.
Fast Lane is another great ability that can give you a clear path to space and separate enemy agents in 1V1 matches. Her other two abilities are not about speed, but about harassment.
Relay bolts are a great way to disrupt enemy formations and create openings for the rest of your team. Meanwhile, using her ultimate abilities, you can increase your speed to 11 or condense everything into a lightning attack that feels like Emperor Palpatine.
Neon takes some risk – she doesn’t hit hard by exception and needs support to ensure that she doesn’t get stuck in a position where she can’t zoom her path.
gekko
This green-haired agent grabs our list in a very respectable place for his wingman and mosh pit. Intel collect, plant, or soften spikes and blind enemies – Gekko can do more. He is the jack of all trades and the master of all things.
Gekko is the perfect choice for his potential for reusability. Certainly there are other great agents, but they can’t reuse their abilities as often as Gekko can. With Gekko you get 7 flashes in one session and a companion that travels the extra distance to plant that spike. The initiator is completely self-sufficient, but his viability increases by 10 times in team settings.
Killjoy
Killjoy is one of the best brave agents thanks to her low learning curve and high viability. Her nonsense toolkit can punish offensive pushes, punish lazy default plants and damage them. The main advantage of the Sentinel is that her gadgets can gather information without risking their necks, and her powers are synonymous with the post-plant meta of the very good Valorant, which has grown to dislike it.
On big maps like Ascent, Killjoy is a force to consider, as her turret takes the form of the sixth operator on the team. Even new players can make the most of Killjoy’s toolkit without spending hours on range. That said, her ultimate ability – lockdown – is deadly. Locking down people within range can prove fatal for a proper timing push, or help the team get the site back and soften the spikes.
Signs
Omen’s FEINT’s movements and ability to move around the battlefield undiscovered makes him extremely difficult to read, forcing the enemy to guess the second time what you do. He can quickly move the cover in the heat of combat without exposing himself, blinding huge areas of the site with flashes, striking deflated, and blocking key operator angles with his precise smoke arrangement.
The main issue with recent signs is that he can It is predicted and managed, especially as many standard struts of this character are well known at this point. He’s still a lot of fun for new players, but it’s becoming more and more difficult to surprise them when he comes across more veteran players in ranked plays.
Brimstone
Though it’s not the most fancy controller in Valorant, Brimstone’s influence is nevertheless unparalleled. The pack reader brings to bravery a unique stim beacon that helps to break open sites, especially after buffs. Attackers can swing to the bomb point on the back of the Stim Beacon, providing solid speed and firepower buffs.
Brimstone is an excellent controller for everlasting smoke, with Valorant’s longest lasting smoke staying for almost 20 seconds. If you use all three smoke in the same place, it’s a better half of the round. Then, of course, his jammed cen and ultimate ultimate add more luster to his reputation. Originally, Brimstone was considered boring, but now it is his only drawback.
Phoenix
A duelist of all trades, Phoenix is one of the best agents for ranked grinds and can quickly get out of ELO stagnation. He doesn’t need heavy team support, so he’s perfect for the day you keep matching No-MIC greeters.
From his hot hand ability to use to heal while burning everyone around him, Phoenix can do a little bit of everything, as he runs, runs through Reckhouse, and returns to where he started, essentially nothing happened.
Sage
Not only is he the only dedicated healer of Sage Valorant, he can also bring his Dead teammates to life with the ultimate.
Her signature orb also has other uses. She can seal the wall with a wall orb to place the wall. It can also slow down enemy agents caught by slow orbs. The enemy can destroy these, but in doing so they force them to reveal their position. Sage can pair very well with certain operators, so if you are taking her, think hard about your team composition.
Layer B
B-Tier Agents are useful, but may not work in the current game meta as well. However, they can help you reach a certain rank until your high-skilled enemies begin to test your resolve.
Viper
Viper’s unparalleled mastery of post-plant meta allows her to secure a wide range of areas and defend against the push of offensive enemy. For those looking to quickly climb ranks in the Controller category, a poison handler is the ideal choice. Vipers are difficult to master, so they need accuracy. However, if piloted by the right person, she can lock down the site herself.
Most of her abilities deal tip damage rather than killing enemies. So she needs good support so that others can take advantage of the weakened state of the enemy. Adding a “fragile” debuff to a Viper’s snake bite means that players must avoid Molotov unless the player wants to deal double damage, making it quite effective in Eco-round.
Deadlock
The perfect teammate, Deadlock’s defensive ability could change the game with his right hand, but Teamcom should be the most effective. Especially when it comes to things like the disappearance of Wrangling skills (the ability to pull captured enemies towards your location) and barrier mesh, you can catch your opponent when placed correctly. The Sonic Sensor is the greatest ability of Deadlock. This not only detects nearby enemies, but also concusses opposing players in this area.
violation
Like many agents in Valorant, violations can become a right-handed powerhouse. But with the wrong hands, he is as much a obstacle to his team as his opposing team, and he is almost always in the wrong hands.
This initiator is a very complicated agent to pilot. This means that it is very difficult for him to grasp and you need to understand his abilities and how to work very highly if you want to try him. Otherwise, you may find yourself blinding your teammates more than your enemies. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
fade
The Turkish Bounty Hunter is a Valorant certified hit, and it’s not surprising why. She’s not the best Intel Gatherer in Valorant’s current meta, but she has the advantage as she can find enemies in rat horns that are not reachable for anything like Sova’s Dart. Normally, the initiator prefers to stay on the backline, but Fade can use her seizing to pull the enemy across the board.
Fade’s sunset is a great tool for defenders to control the area they are awarded to. With the fear trails marked, deaf and blind enemies are completely vulnerable under fade spells. At this point, her Prowler pairing with Fade’s Ultimate can have incredible results.
Astra
Astra literally changed the game when she was introduced, but that’s no wonder as she has powerful space abilities.
The controller, by definition, can control a crowd with her gravity-enabled abilities or enemies via nova pulses. She also has a smoke screen to block gazes in emergencies, but supporting her thematic set of abilities requires her to enter the astral shape used to burn other abilities and place the “stars.” Don’t be fascinated by the beauty of this form – it’s as cool as being a ghost, you’re totally vulnerable and unarmed in an astral form.
The astral form is also where Astra causes her ultimate cosmic disparity. This divides the map along the axis of the set by a massive wall that can block bullets and moisten the sound, giving the team a breathing room for planning a reorganization or ambush. She’s definitely not easy to pilot, but a good Astra player is worth it in a high erotic game.
Reina
While Reina’s possibilities and toolset are often said to be a lot of positive arguments, she is another “feast or hunger” agent. That means she’s as good as the player who controls her. She can be in the S-layer with the hands of the right players, especially when it comes to solo queuing, but on this list she has a hard time staying in B as she is a poor team player.
To her credit, Reina’s flashes are powerful at peaks and pushes, and her ability to tie her flags together makes her the ultimate agent to grab the rounds. This is very strong when paired with a lower team, but Reina’s abilities aren’t that good when matched with equal opposition.
Too much
Kay/O is more relevant as Riot continues to add more capable agents. The WAR machines are equipped with important suppressors to deal with such as agents that exacerbate utilities within Gekko, Chamber, and Toolkit. Kay/o can shut down a scary heavy lifter with just a small holographic dagger.
Again, Kay/O has a low learning curve, but a high skilled curve, green players may be running rank grinds, and old fashioned people may be wild with the tricks that Kay/O’s simple toolkit has to offer.
Chamber
If this list ranks agents in terms of how well they are dressed, the chamber becomes a layer of God. Sadly, it ranks in how well the agent works, and the exquisitely cut Frenchman is in a much better position than ever before, but he never reaches the kind of submissive domination he achieved when he first set up.
Chamber is good at eco-round and has some maneuverability thanks to his rendezvous ability, but the majority of his lethality comes from how good the person in control is. His ultimate ability summons the operator – so unless you are particularly good at this sniper rifle, the chamber is used as much as sharp suits in gunfights.
Layer C
Although C-Tier agents may struggle to stand in position against most brave agents, players may still run them on a specific map or situation. These agents may not be worth it given their lower effectiveness, as they have valuable skills that may require a large investment to acquire.
YORU
Yeol probably had the strangest trajectory of agents on the Valorant Tier list. His launch condition was so relentless that he was lined up for a quick redo, and he rarely changed the tide in court by the duels. As Yor has been suffering at the bottom of the mountain for a long time, seeing him pop up in professional play was considered particularly as a treat in the hands of Paper Rex’s Jason ‘f0rsakan’ susanto- or trolls.
Today, Yeol is in a much better place – great news given that he is very enjoyable to play. The prototype trickster can send clones to deflect the fire, flying forward a tether he can teleport. If things get too hot on entry, Yoru has a few flashes.
The big one is Yoru’s ultimate dimension drift, making him completely invisible and he can run the map to make him happy. In this state, you can find the best position to score kills while gathering a large amount of Inter for your team.
Tejo
Tejo has been launched as an incredibly powerful initiator, offering the largest corner, quarantine pick and easy way to clear the clear sites. His main weakness is his lack of flash, but this is easily covered by playing him with double initiator setups such as Breach and Kay/O. After a long overdue round of Nalf, including removal of charging capabilities in his guided salvo, Teho fell over the tierists.
She was losing
Season 2025 ACT 2 Debut Toilet I’ve been all flashing and hasn’t been that substantial since it came to life in the game. With the lack of self-sufficiency of other duelists, Waylay is not responsible for the ideal entry in a Soloq environment, but requires a coordinated utility to guide her safely to the site. In Higher Elos, when played on stacks, and of course on the pro stage, this is probably another story, but for now we’ve put her in the C tier.
Sky
Skye is a great initiator that can create spaces and generate Intel for your team. Guide lights can blind enemies with flash effects, and Trailblazer or her ultimate seeker will flush enemies out of the cover to deal damage.
Skye’s pick rates are significantly improved when playing on small maps, both offensive and defensive, thanks to impressive utility options. She is not a substitute for the sage in this regard, but she even has some light healing.
D-Tier
Port
The hype around the port was amazing when it was fired at his watershield. But like many new additions to Valorant, the port turns out to be a bust. Some players still swear to his toolkit, but his cascade and high tide are not worth offering. Waterscreens slow down enemies and create new angles – a job that many other agents can do much better.
Harbor smoke may be unique and valuable, but it can easily be countered. Cove blocks the bullet, but only seven vandal shots are ready to openly exclude the ejector and toast. Compared to Valorant’s other ultimates, Reckoning feels like a waste of 7 points, especially at a high ranking. Concussions are bearish, and Skywise is difficult to catch during a chaotic fight.
How this Valorant Tier List was created
This Valorant Tier list takes into account the current meta, so while some low-tier agents are very strong on paper, it turns out that their abilities are hard to use as most teams play in general. To determine the ranking of each agent, we looked at factors such as overall feasibility, success/pic rates, and whether those skills suit the current meta and popular playstyle.
It is also worth noting that a valuable agent is not at fault. Some players may go through the ranks with C-Tier agents, and some players may see Godtier characters at the bottom of the scoreboard. After all, it comes down to personal playstyle, practice and tactics. Some agents may be classified as S-tier, but may not be suitable for everyone.
If your team is trying to figure out which Comp is ranked, hopefully the Valorant Tier list will help. We have adjusted our research so that we can’t count the pro streams and deaths in ranked plays, so you don’t need to.
The best brave agent for beginners
This is the best brave agent for beginners:
- Brimstone
- cloves
- gekko
- Killjoy
- Reina
- Sage
All of these agents know about relatively simple kits, but all have a level of skill expression when you’re ready to take the time. Brimstone, for example, offers smoke, motion stim, molotov, and large death lasers. His kits can be picked up and played by anyone, but things like the Smoke Spot, One Way and Molly lineup will make the absolute demons of Brimmy the best.
Cloves have similar ways of unfolding smoke – smoke that can be used even after the smoke dies. In addition to this, the ability to yawkwardly into the essence of life like Reyna means that two parts of the kit are drawn directly from the two most beginner-friendly agents in the game. Throws a decay orb and self-inversion with simple timing. Clove is the perfect modern agent for beginners to know.
Speaking of Reina, duelists are the ultimate woman because of their ability to heal from defeated enemies. Her ultimate itself is a massive combat stim, so there’s not much to learn there.
Gekko is a great agent for beginners. Not only can you plant one of his companions spikes in him, but you can also allow you to focus on getting your purpose and cross-section placement right, but the utility of his rechargeable makes it difficult to punish him for misuse it at least early in your brave career.
Like Brimmy, Sage has a low-skilled floor. Packing slow orbs, walls, healing and resurrection doesn’t really make sense of how she works. However, between terrible wall arrangements and clutch revivals, skilled sage players can be an absolute threat on the server.
With a ranked Valorant Tier list for play, you should have no problem blowing up your opponents with a solid team with top picks. If you’re looking for more, we recommend checking out when you can get new skins cheaply at Valorant Night Market and pay more attention to detail by equipping one of the best brave crosshairs for accurate shoots. Good luck and have fun.
