spare FF14 7.3 Patch Notes Here it is, they reveal some important changes in the new update to the rave reviews of MMORPG. Title: The Promise of Tomorrow, the incoming patch marked the conclusion of Dawntrail Story Arc and almost certainly took the path to the next expansion. Among the releases is a redesign of one of the game’s oldest and most infamous strange dungeons, a previously suggested overhaul to the Phoenix Downs, and another free fantasia for all the glam demons.
Final Fantasy 14 game director Yoshida Naoshima has already provided a rather extensive overview of what we’re looking forward to in Patch 7.3 in his recent live letter 88, so we won’t go into much specific details about the basic additions. There are new main story content, including Dungeons and Trials, Part 2 of the Echo of the Vana’diel Alliance Raid series, and the new Treasure Dungeon Vault Oneiron. However, in addition to the discovered introduction of chat bubbles, there are many improvements to one of our best MMORPGs.
First, Creative Studio 3 in Square Enix has introduced a new pop-up tutorial for quests with specific goals, such as object transport and NPC escorts. These will be automatically displayed in the first such instance and can be reviewed from the obligation list. You can also extend the maximum range where players and monster models are visible in most areas, but note that this does not increase the total number that can be displayed at once. However, the new independent settings allow you to increase the “amount of characters and objects.”
NPC Duty Support was introduced for the new MSQ dungeon, a MESO terminal, but has also come to other unnamed Dawntrail obligations. In other words, the Mystical Class End Trial offers you the ability to fight alongside computer-controlled characters on behalf of other real players if you wish. This was not available in DawnTrail’s final boss or the story trial in 7.2, but in either case the story was meaningless.
Also, mandatory support has been deployed for the optional Realm Reborn Dungeon Cutter’s cry, and there are some major changes. One of the oldest group content in FF14 2.0 has long been famous for its unique structure that leads to veterans running through, ignoring monsters and diving into the next area via sand.
Yoshida recently joked that the team “is yelling the cutters out, ignoring all the regulations they set to design the dungeon.” The sand that moves to travel between areas only appears when sufficient enemies are defeated, with fine tweaks made to all three boss battles (perhaps this latter change mainly to explain NPC ally).
The iconic final fantasy item that is merely the novelty of FF14, the Phoenix Down looks much more useful. Now available to purchase from many vendors, they can be stacked up to a total of 999 in stock and can be used in combat. It also works with players outside the party and is available in public areas, instance dungeons, guild levels, four player trials, treasure dungeons, deep dungeons, field operations, and variant dungeons.
This very welcome change in quality of life means that there will be far fewer wipes for the accidental early healer death and that no pressure will be put to take Red Magicians or Summoners for their resurrection skills. That being said, it’s a great boon, but you can expect it along with the 8-second cast time of the new look of Phoenix and the long six-minute recast, but don’t rely too much on it.
In certain cases, new enemy cast bars can now be displayed under the nameplate. It is enabled by default, but can be turned off in the menu. Currently, it’s only for instance content, but the team is considering it for something like a massive fate. Hunt Trains, as Shaaloani, Heritage discovered, keeps this patch busy, and all living memories have multiple instances to accommodate the increase in activity there, but Yak T’el goes back to just one thing.
One of the last great changes for new players is that if you are using the “participate in ongoing duties” toggle, you won’t be thrown into something along the way if it’s your first time. “The changes were implemented to ensure players are fully able to enjoy the duties they are experiencing for the first time,” explains Square Enix. It’s a small but valuable tweak, allowing you to run roulette without worrying about suddenly finding yourself at the end of a dungeon that you’ve never seen the early part.
We thought we had exhausted our free Fantasia Bottle handouts, but it appears that CS3 is still making small changes to the player character model. Therefore, during 7.3, you can get yet another fantasian feather from the old Gridanian wandering moogle (x:10.7, y:6.4), but you will need to charge it by the time patch 7.4 arrives.
For other rewards, we’d like to check out new items at Gemstone Trader Kajeel Ja from Tuliyollal, the materials supplier for housing complexes, and MGP vendors from Gold Saucer. I can now use more emotions while sitting. In particular, there are people whose characters eat and drink. Finally, once you find a fashion you like, you will find a new “Glamour” button in the window used to inspect the player’s equipment.
Final Fantasy 14 Patch 7.3 will be released on Tuesday, August 5th. You can read preliminary notes courtesy of Square Enix. Yoshida will host a patch reading stream on release date to talk about these changes.
