The Road of Asylum 2 The third dict order marks season 3 with a sequel that splits the opinions of Grinding Gear Games. Its campaign and meat combat have proven popular, but his 10-year-old predecessor and relatively slow pace and relatively light Endgame have seen many comebacks in the free original. New updates do not offer a different class. This is certainly a bit disappointing, but I am actually excited about the third dict order as a result. GGG has attracted attention for several core pieces of ARPG and may have ultimately resolved one of the series’ longest frustrations.

The new Path in the Exile 2 update introduces the expected Act 4, but GGG actually goes far further as it aims to provide a sequel that can accommodate the name of one of the best games like Diablo. Its second playthrough is completely gone, realizing that the game is now “too long” and can play it with cruel difficulty. Instead, three new “entanglement acts” carry you from the end of Act 4 until the end.

When combined, these sums were roughly the same size as Chapter 4, giving us a total of 35 new zones and 24 major boss fights later in the campaign. Once the rest of the story is complete, the entanglement act is removed, but the region and boss are taken over to Endgame. Act 4 takes us to Kings Marco and features a nonlinear progression that allows us to freely sail between the islands in the order of our choice. Meanwhile, the interlude returns to the previous zone to follow up the events of the first three acts.

Before we get into the meat of the third dict and the league that goes with it, the secret secret, I want to address the biggest topic. The first is a new sprint feature that is used by retaining the dodge key after rolling. There is no limit to this. Game Director Jonathan Rogers says “basically faster than monsters in the game.” Warnings cannot be used as a way to dodge past enemy packs as they are hit while running, as they fall to the ground and become extremely vulnerable. Instead, they want to cancel with skills to ensure safety.

Another important change is the addition of complete asynchronous trade. A feature that has been requested ever since the first road of exile was launched over a decade ago, finally came here for the third dict order. “This has been taking a long time,” admits game director Mark Roberts. It is being tested in an early form here, and he says, “There are certainly some twists to solve,” but he points out that the plan is to bring functionality to the Poe 1 once it’s fully formed.

During Act 4, you can meet Kings Marco’s trade expert Angi and invite her to join your hideout. There, you can list items in the new “merchant’s tab” in your stash at the set price of craft currency. If players see it on the Poe 2 Trade website, they can teleport to their hideout by clicking the button and then purchase directly. There is no need to go back to the base. Your store will also function while you are offline. Buyers will also pay a small gold fee in addition to the price that covers the Ange fee.

As someone who has been on the path of exile since the early beta era, you can count the number of items sold with one hand. Message players and wondering if they’ll respond and wait for them to finish what they’re doing to get back to the base is simply too much trouble. So this update is completely transformative and should make me richer. If you have already purchased the Premium Stash tab before the release of the third dict order, you can convert some to Merchant tabs via the POE website. These will work in the first game as soon as the system is implemented in the future.

Are these landmark changes actually in the third dict order as they are addressed? As mentioned before, we set sail from Kings Marco, explore the surrounding islands of Act 4, featuring over 100 new monster types, 16 areas, and a battle of 12 bosses. From there are three acts of entanglement designed to fill the gap. First, we’ll be back to help rebuild the Ogham Village. Here we need to deal with the corrupt inhabitants of the cursed town of Holten.

Next comes the “stolen barrier.” There, they take part in gifting water rituals. Unfortunately, Ser Kali, the guardian of the sacred water, is missing, so we need to track them down and help us complete the ritual. Finally, there is “Duriyani’s Contingency.” Vaal’s iconic royal Thaumaturge has a plan to evoke a sealed vault deep in the mountains where Vaal was trapped thousands of years ago, trying to protect him from cataclysms. It’s time to break the stickers, break the fallout style and discover what’s waiting inside.

It will not be added to the Exile 2 class Path Of Path roster, but there will be some major updates with new skills and rebalances for everyone. To make Evasion feel like a more valuable and defensive option, a new statistic called Deflect was introduced. This is the ability to reach a full 100% activation chance and can be obtained through nodes and items that grant it as a percentage of evasion. It works with everything that comes in your path and can get 40% less damage on hits.

Speaking of defense, all enemy attacks in the game can now be blocked except for movements that cannot be blocked by certain red flashes. To explain this, there is a rebalance to passive blocks, but it also has the effect of making Parry’s movements more reliable, as you don’t run into situations that suddenly don’t work. Warrior’s accuracy has been reworked and “now it shouldn’t require accurate investment to get hit by range attacks.”

Similarly, minions no longer require accuracy – your brawl summons are always hits, and freeform promotional spectator skills are all more powerful across the board (Rogers says that the team was “a bit afraid” of potential power at first). Monks can now play fully unarmed builds with hollow palm techniques. This allows you to use the skills and scaling of the quarter staff while the weapons in either hand are not equipped.

To promote more elemental diversity, the magician gains the elemental weakness that combines all three curses into a single skill. The weapon switching time is completely removed, allowing you to quickly flip between two elements on the spot. There is also a new feature called “Elemental Infusions” that still retains certain skills. This can apply effects to other skills, such as injecting colds from frost bombs. If you’ve played Expedition 33, this reminds me of many ways Lune’s dirt works.

The crossbow is “closed”. Reloading no longer punishes movements, and all skills that function on the move shortened the slow effect (actually changing beyond the crossbow to all classes). Debuffs like shocks and chills are now long lasting, and skills that benefit from hitting targets will earn you greater bonuses, especially when fighting enemies that are difficult to apply stats to bosses and so on. This makes combo skills much more viable.

To further this is the major redesign of the support GEM, which is no longer limited to a single copy of each type. This was supposed to promote diversity, Rogers explained, but in reality, players would end up putting all their powers into a single ability. It also shuts down many potential paths in Asylum 2 builds (poison builds could only stack up on one skill, for example). Many utility moves meant they didn’t scale back to the endgame as they needed something like the speed-incident effect of Martial Tempo in their main attack.

To further promote the possibility of slow scaling in the game, the Support Gems have several tiers that you unlock as they progress. The second layer is usually a slight increase in power, or a reduction in penalty, but many rank 3 options introduce new aspects such as automatic reloading for heavy stuns on double barrels. In addition to this, there is the “pedigree support gems” that appear in Endgame, which is essentially unique support with a much more unique and powerful way to change skills.

Approximately 40 have been found to support these strains. Returning to the double barrel, the equivalent of that lineage is Lhasa attack, changing your skill to reload every time you dodge a roll, but doing so is the only way to reload. It also increases the number of bolts held. “Some of them are definitive builds, others are straight power upgrades,” Rogers said.

The passive skill tree path for Asylum 2 has become much more dense, along with over 150 new celebrities, about 20 per class, and smaller clusters (yes). This should significantly increase the chances of build crafting, focusing on grouping “themes”. Many of the additional items appear in parallel branches to existing paths or as “centrepieces” for groups of nodes, so they don’t need to be moved any more than before. The gear attribute requirements have also fallen by 25% across the board, resulting in fewer points being spent on raw statistical nodes.

Craft has been upgraded. Essence now works like a stately orb that makes it more convenient by applying certain mods. These can drop higher rank variants in late games along with other ingredients like conversion, enhancement, legal, elevation, chaotic orbs, and guarantee the base layer of advanced modifiers when used. This allows you to spend less early, but it becomes more convenient as you go deeper into the endgame. The recombiner has a new “unpredictable” mode that guarantees that it will abandon modifier control and always give something.

It’s for core game updates, but it’s not finished yet. The first proper path of the two leagues of exile also comes with the third dict order. “Every time we come back for expansion, we want to feel that each area is different and make sure something extra is going on,” says Roberts. Our new league is the rise of Abyssals, which open vast cracks in many parts of the world. From these, it is named after the Masters of Forbidden Magic and Necromancy, Abyssosal, which was thought to have been extinct but buried underground.

Fighting monsters near these cracks will gradually become sealed and lead to openings in the pit. This unleashes the most dangerous deep sal enemies that will take on the strength and modifiers of the newly fallen creature. Killing an unauthorized asylum and defecting in one nearby, they return as the river born. If you manage to defeat a boss in this area, you can “reward” with a giant gigara fly from its depth.

Asylum Route 2 Third Dict - Dark Area of ​​Abyssal.

Normally, when you defeat everything you pour from the Abyssor Pit, you seal it off and present a chest full of rewards, but instead it becomes a hole where you can dive in. Below, we enter the “Dark Domain” and fight an undead city filled with even more severe modifications and deadly Richborn overlords. Of course, clearing this will give you some of the best payments, including lineage support and other rewards specific to your zone. Do flashy slotting gems enter your passive tree into your passive tree that will change your skills and turn you into an abominable rich?

You will also get new craft items that apply the “adroxed” modifier to the item. These are hidden at first until they are taken to the well of the soul. This is a new realm found in Act 2 where you can chuck into the explicitly seceded gear. This will announce the selection of three potential modifiers. You can also do this with Waystones to further enhance your Endgame map.

Want to take a greater risk? You need to head to Endgame first. There is a new type of underground area known as ancient spires. The device is used by Abyssal Commanders “push the Wraeclast into a light void” and features one of four different boss fights. In their unique rewards, you can find Rich’s fingers. Take this to the well of the soul and you will be given the option to dive into yourself. “The items you thrown have returned more powerfully, right?” Roberts said, “So what is the worst possible situation?”

You’ll also find something even more new throughout Atlas, including the new Rockpool area fighting the mighty Goblin King. The final battles of Act Four Boss and the three interlude Acts all get their own Uber variants that can appear in new zones, serving as a bridge to help prepare for a real apex encounter. The Waystone modifiers have also been returned to the POE1 model, each adding positive and negative. “After seeing the feedback, we decided we liked more what we actually had on the path of exile,” says Roberts.

Path of Exile 2 3rd dict Order and the rise of Abyssal, the league that follows, will be live on Friday, August 29th at 1am PDT / 4pm EDT / 9pm BST / 10pm Cest. I’m definitely on sale. The cruel removal in favour of a more complete campaign is a bigger draw for me than the bigger new class, and the introduction of asynchronous trading may be the most welcome change Poe has ever seen.
