August is currently relatively quiet in new VR games, but we’ve put together some highlights.
There were still some highlights in July, but the summer is usually slower for new VR games. This month we tried tabletroopers, clone drones, prison boss bans, electric, pirates and jungle man elsewhere. Our thoughts on V-Racer Hoverbikes and Skyrunners: Drone Heroes will also be coming soon. Elsewhere, we have tested the latest Baptistic Starsuit, Yaw 3 motion simulator, and strikervr mavrik haptic guns.
As more games are announced or postponed, this list will be updated and the upcoming VR game list will also be updated regularly. Wanderer: Pico and the Fateful Snippets of Elemental Towers currently list August release dates, but repeated delays mean that they are not included for now. This rule applies to other games that have multiple delays in the future.
For now, here are some highlights from this August quest, PC VR, and PlayStation VR2 new VR games.
Hidden memories of the gardens during August 7th (PC VR, Quest)
Originally launched for the Flatscreen platform in 2018, Hidden Memories of the Gardens of the Gardens is a puzzle adventure in which two best friends, Arina and Frendt, fall into a strange world. Once you arrive at a land filled with garden islands, you are tasked with manipulating time to discover the secrets of each island. The recent preview gave me a strong impression. Developed by Saber Interactive, World War Z VR rethinks the flat screen zombie shooter from a studio with the same name from a first-person perspective with single-player only adventures. Hide the corpse – August 18th (PS VR2)
Released in Quest last year, Hide the The The The Corpse gives you four minutes before the police arrive to hide the body. Even looking at ragdolls that are not lively across a variety of environments, it promises a very comedic premise. Last year’s impressions were positive, and steam releases will arrive at a later date.
