IIt’s amazing to watch an action-adventure RPG I lost my soul It was finally released considering development began in 2014 and the first trailer debuted in 2016. Since then, the title has clearly gone through the wild development cycle. This is after the first invented by developer Bing Yang, essentially a decade and the full console generation was announced. The title originally started as a solo project, but Yang eventually came with several developers thanks to funding from Sony’s Chinese Hero Project and the formation of Ultizero Games.

“The true story of the game – what we ultimately do for the majority of the gameplay begins when Kayser’s sister becomes the target of the particularly big Boydrax and her soul is taken away.”

The world of I lost my soul Despite its vibrant colour palette, it is dark. A large part of humanity is ruled by the empire, which took over the reins of leadership after winning a war in which several homes were destroyed. The main character, Kayser, is one of the victims of this war, a skilled fighter who works to overthrow the empire and stand up against the emperor face to face, and becomes a member of the rebel group Glimmer. The story begins with the plan, the general Empire urging people to act, to rise up and fight the emperor during a parade celebrating his birthday.

Unfortunately, this interesting beginning is that it was polished to the sides quite early thanks to the invasion of interdimensional forces known only as voidrax. These enemies not only can they swarm humanity and bring about massive destruction, but they also have the ability to steal souls from humans. In the midst of this explosion, Kayser finds himself in an alliance with the friendly Boydrax, and the arena must cooperate to dodge the invasion.

True Story of the Game – What ultimately does for the majority of the gameplay begins when Kayser’s sister becomes the target of the particularly big Boydrax and her soul is filmed. Kaser and Arena decide to travel to a place where Voidrax was theorized to preserve all the human souls they have gathered. Unfortunately, this means that I lost my soul Essentially, it turns into a collection quest that collects magical MacGuffins that will help you run around and save Kaser’s sister.

“Pacing is quite painful thanks to the way the story is told.”

The general pace of the story is strange. It starts very well, with a setup that means that the Empire will use Voidrax’s powers with malicious intent to continue to force and check citizens thanks to the power of the Order. Unfortunately, none of this story is rewarded in a particularly satisfying way, and the moment you finish the prologue you may forget the entire prologue.

Pacing is also quite difficult thanks to the way the story is told. I lost my soul It’s an incredibly linear game that doesn’t get in the way of side content to give you a break from the main story. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing in itself, but the main story often throws you into back-to-back and boss battles. As a result, playing through it can sometimes feel tired. Fortunately, this problem is most prominent during business hours, but the frequency of encounters stabilizes later.

I lost my soul It’s a fast-paced game and thanks to its abundant healing items, it will make you hug with some enemies while making you feel unrequited in real danger. It has two light and heavy core attacks and dodges and abilities given by the arena.

I lost my soul

“The boss works to give credit, of course. I lost my soul It’s very well done. ”

Combat tends to look very flashy, with particle effects flying everywhere when you confuse combos by light attacks, fierce attacks, and free switching of abilities. Unfortunately, most encounters are not particularly challenging and rarely do anything more than putting together, dodging or landing the occasional perfect block to deal with the enemy.

To give credit where it will be due, the boss mechanic I lost my soul It’s pretty well done. These bosses must work to unload one claw at a time, from duels against equally skilled and powered-up soldiers to massive giant beasts.

The varieties offered by three different weapon types are also quite useful. Starting with a regular sword, you will quickly acquire two weapon types: Great Sword and Pole Blade. All three weapons will feel completely different with each one’s own specialist areas. If the Great Sword can deal a lot of damage with slower combos, the pole blades will help you remove groups more efficiently. The basic sword itself lies somewhere between these two in terms of its niche. All three weapon types can be switched at any time, with plenty of possibilities to change combos.

“As for visuals I lost my soul It seems to be packed with different eras in the game. “

Each weapon can be equipped with many accessories that allow you to change the amount of damage and other utilities the weapon can add to the arsenal. These accessories must be manually attached to the weapon and their placement is up to you, so each weapon has a unique look. The effects of these accessories can also allow you to dodge even more, recharge your abilities more quickly, and only deal bonus damage to certain attacks.

Another major source of progression is the ability to unleash the abilities of new arenas. You can equip up to three of these abilities, which essentially serve as a major combo attack in their own right. In addition to their flashy abilities, you can also unlock additional movements for each weapon, further increasing the chances of epic combos. There is also a loose craft system I lost my soulIt allows for an easy way to quickly utilize all the plants you’ve picked up to craft healing potions and other upgrades. Overall, combat is one of the most powerful aspects of the game and is the main reason to play I lost my soul If selected.

Regarding visuals, I lost my soul It seems to be packed with different eras in the game. The overall art direction can be very strong, especially once a long prologue mission is over, but fidelity is essentially everywhere. Some of the games appear to have been weaker and developed with older hardware in mind, while others appear flashy and in their current state. Together, these factors create a significantly uneven visual experience. It is probably an inevitable by-product of the project’s long-term development.

“The effect of a sword attack, for example, will make you feel incredibly weak despite your epic combo.”

Even the audio is a bit of a mixed bag. The music in the game is very impressive, but the sound effects associated with gameplay don’t feel like they’re as punchy as they should be, especially when it comes to epic boss fights and big story moments. For example, the effect of sword attacks will be very weak despite your epic combo. Similarly, many enemies tend to sound the same. The voice acting is also uneven, ranging from a fun scene-biting dialogue coming out of the arena to human enemies that sound more than low-paid extras. The performances of Kaser and other supporting characters are thankfully decent enough.

I played the game on my PS5 Pro. There, the quality modes showed some serious problems. In the short time I tried, everything slowed down, felt movement and combat, struggled to maintain a steady frame rate, and was able to play it. Luckily, the performance mode was much more stable, with only a few drops here and there, especially during autoholding.

There is a lot of evidence about Poland’s shortage I lost my soul Ironically, it may have required a bit more development time here and there. For example, music during cutscenes is suddenly cut off the moment it finishes, rather than fading out naturally or timing it out to suit the scene. The enemy was also surprisingly often frustrated. You just got stuck behind the scenes or freeze completely, earning a free hit.

Lost souls are 5

“All issues I lost my soul It feels like it symbolizes a lack of experience on the part of the developer. ”

To put it together, there are all the problems I lost my soul It feels like it symbolizes a lack of experience on the part of the developer. There is a solid foundation for combat, but the game rarely experiments because simple combos are enough to get the game done. Coupled with the lack of polish, I lost my soul This title is only recommended for those who have already been invested in this style of behavior. While RPG fans may struggle with uneven pacing in the story, action games fans will probably enjoy more, they may feel drained by an overwhelming early boss encounter that stabilizes as the game progresses.

I lost my soul It may have been much better than it turned out, but despite its flaws, if only that rough edges were smoothed out, then there is still a possibility of something truly amazing still being clear.

This game was reviewed on PlayStation 5.
