Hollow Knight: Want to move towards a lower area of the unexplored deep docks in Silksong? Now you’ve made enough progress to save Jubilana and Gain Clawline movement skills. It’s finally time to completely conquer the early Game Deep Dock regions. But a fair warning – the lower section of the deep dock is much tougher than the upper levels we’ve faced in the hours of Silkson!
in Silk Song Walkthrough Part 24guides you through the remaining deep docks and shows you where you’ll go to discover all the worthy things: lost chisels, memory rockets, new shortcuts, battles with brand new bosses with the leader of the deep dock.

Deep Dock 2 Walkthrough Steps:
- Buy a simple Jubilana key.
- Fight the path to the far fields.
- Collect spool pieces through the door below.
- Complete the Arena Battle to save the fleas.
- Unlock the two shortcuts.
- Defeat Forebrothers Signis and Gron.
- Collect memory rockets below.
- Reach the diving bell.
1. I’m buying a simple key from Jubilana.
Before doing anything at the deep dock, we quickly move to the first shrine benchlica and head to Songclave. Talk to Jubilana and buy a simple key for the 650 Rosary.
Are you not enough rosary?
Once you’ve done that, you can quickly travel to the Deep Dock and access a new section of this early game area using the simple keys on the door just below the Forge Daughter’s location.

Also, at this point, we recommend visiting the daughter of Forge and buying (and equipping) a Magma Bell if you haven’t already. There is a lot of fire damage waiting for you at these low-level deep docks!

2. Fight the path to the far fields.

Once you’ve passed the simple key door, head over to the shelf on the right and carefully descend to the lava level at the bottom. Jump over to the shelf on the left side of the body with the shard bundle. After that, go back to the exit on the top right and worry about the lava that you put on as you climb.
In this next room there is a consistent new enemy called the deep diver. Otherwise, dodging the accusation and punishing it with an attack until it expires is too untouchable. After that, climb up the shelf and reach the top right exit again.

After another encounter with the deep diver, you can flick the lever at the end of the pass to open the gate into a more familiar part of the deep dock. This is an area that I have previously discovered by taking secret passages in the far fields.
3. Collect the spool pieces through the door below.

However, you can now use the claw line on the top hook to open it by dropping it into the lower right door. This place is much more dangerous as mostly armored flint frame flyers are constantly throwing explosive rocks at you. That magmabell saves many headaches here.
Go down to the left and find another series of small shelves under the shaft. Go down to the right of the lowest level shelf just above the lava, then jump to the wall on the right to raise your claws.

From there, attack an explosive rock above you and follow the (difficult) path that it reveals. You will need to do many quick acrobatic tasks to destroy more explosive rocks and avoid rocks falling along the way, but you will be rewarded with a shortcut back to the start of this new area at the end.
4. Complete the Arena Battle to save the fleas.

Now, back down, this time we’ll take the left route near the lava level. You’ll need to run around to the hooks mentioned above (it’s best to avoid the bustling flint frame fryer around here). You can then head left and climb into the difficult Gauntlet Arena battle featuring the same nasty explosive flint frame flyer.
In such a limited space, it is best to take things in very carefully and focus on hitting explosives upon arrival.

After the shortcut battle to the arena, unlock the gate on the right and climb to the top left exit. Follow the path to the edge and find fleas that need rescue.

5. Unlock two shortcuts.

After rescued the fleas, return to the arena and then head down to the left side and towards the left exit.
In the next room, you are troubled by a very nasty flying enemy and throw an explosive arrow at you. Just dodge the arrows and ignore him (you can’t hurt him meaningfully anyway), and proceed to the end of the room.
Climb the next room and take the exit on the right. Climb the narrow shaft (to do it immediately and avoid dropping rocks on top). Then proceed to the end and flick the lever to unlock the path from the top to the bottom section, moving through this part of the deep dock easily.

Backtrack into the previous room and head the left path now. Push the lever to activate the passageway. Once you reach the hot coal, climb up, break the ceiling and return the shortcut with ease to a simple open key door. Because the next step on this journey is the boss battle.

6. Defeat Signis and Gron from the previous Brother.
Return to the newly opened hole and set it down. At the bottom you can investigate the flintstone piles if necessary. Then go left and follow the path to the Duo Boss battle with Fore Brothers Signo and Gron.

The latter will later join the fight – he is a maniac who throws the arrows you saw previously on the road here. Thankfully, both enemies have a rather simple attack pattern. I recommend using your Flint Slate weapon tool to increase your damage at key moments and focus purely until he dies, allowing you to face Gron one-on-one.
7. Collect the following memory rockets:

After defeating the former siblings, go left and drop down on the pressure plate in front of the lower left door. Head through the door to a rather gorgeous looking bench, then move to the left of the bench, destroying the doodudad in front of the door, unlocking the shortcut and returning to one of the early areas of the deep dock.
It’s not far from there yet, so turn around and go back to the shaft on the right. Reduce one level and enter the room for silk titer. You then fall to the next level, hitting the fragile wall on the left and hitting a secret passage.

In this secret room, a single rocky platform floats downwards through a spiked hole. Loot the pilgrim’s bodies on the platform for a memory rocket. After that, you will climb and leave.
8. Reach the diving bell.
This last part is optional. Because there’s actually nothing more to do below. But for those who want to see what’s at the bottom of the deep dock, it falls to the bottom of the shaft and floats to the right to avoid lava. Next, go off-screen.

This next big room is full of Lavalagus – an even larger version of Lavalagus that you’ve encountered previously and grew to lightly splash. Not only will they spit lava in all directions when they detect you, they will also shoot strong lava jets from their top, so it’s best to pass them as much as possible.

Pass the first Rabalalga and drop the hole down, above the second Rabalalga, with hot coal heading towards the left. Pass through a short platform segment over there and attack the explosive rocks on the wall on the right to open the path to the beast’s debris.
Once that’s done, return from that side passage and begin climbing upwards. This part is the most difficult. Because there are two lavas on the walls, waiting for you to spit out the lava as you try to bypass them. It is best to take it carefully first, one at a time with a jump attack from the wall.

In the end, it will make a path to the top. Press the lever on the left, then go beyond the second lever, and then open a simple passage here next time (there will be next time). Next, head to the right to the next room. This is where our deep dock journey ends for the time being. This room contains nothing but the large, mysterious diving bells that are currently unavailable.

Act 3 brings us back to this place. For now, it’s time to leave the deep dock and explore new territory once more.
And so, the deep dock has finally been completely conquered! Return to a more gentle area with leisure and when you’re ready, join part 25 of the Silk Song walkthrough and explore the brand new Wisp Phatset region.
