Developed by Pan Studio, a team under the Hero Games umbrella that helps bring breakout hits like Black Myth: Wukong and Wuthering Waves, Duet Night Abyss is a new epic set that will adorn your PC and mobile screens on October 28th. Changes following multiple closed beta tests.
If you weren’t lucky enough to be at Gamescom Showfloor to see a life-size eclosior statue up close, don’t worry, we’ll catch up with you. Duet Night Abyss is an animated action game that promises to respect your time and, more importantly, your bank balance.
Duet Night Abyss hopes to learn not only from other games, but from the games that helped to promote that direction earlier this year. It aims to correct general frustration by removing much of the shattering, friction, and random number game culture that could hinder the creation of intimidating theories of exploration and fuel. We’re all here to have a good time, and hero games feel the same way.
Duet Night Abyss is a 3D combat action game that prioritizes player freedom, fluid mobility mechanics, relaxed character playstyles, and dual storylines that will give fans of the genre a fresh air. Are you unhappy about spending your earned currency to gain anything other than duplicate weapons from characters you’re not using? It’s one of the modern headaches you don’t have here.
This bids farewell to the star ratings of characters and weapons and to FOMO, who lacks a metal limited release. Equipment and characters can be unlocked, created and upgraded by acquiring shards through regular play. And with clearly signed acquisition methods, there is no risk of running errands just to roll up copies of characters you will never use.
But if you’ve ever put a character on the bench to look, play, or feel, don’t worry. They will also look good to play and do it. And for a more robust makeover, unique skins can switch things further. If you’re tired of waiting for your character to shine, you just do it yourself.
Duet Night Abyss not only lets you play heartbreak in weapon banners, but you can also wield any weapon for any character. And one or more. The character you control can carry small weapons, switch between two geared weapons and brawl with the villain. Start a surprise volley from the rocket launcher, close the gap with a stylish wall jump, send the enemy flying along with the Great Sword, and return it to the heavy ordinance and unleash the second barrage.
Don’t forget: these are warriors struggling in battle. Create and refine your equipment for free, create custom loadouts that change long quests and eradicate the Devil’s Room to a few seconds of attacks that include elegant glides and ferocious flamethrowers. And if you don’t want to go it alone, you are welcome to invite up to three friends (or your own roster) to unleash the waves or take on a tougher challenge.
Cross-cutting mechanics helps us continue to explore its vast world over and over again, fresh and exciting times. To seduce casual tourism and stimulate a stylish entrance to any battle, grappling hooks, advanced double jumps, helix jumps, and wall jumps become part of the roster’s repertoire, without the stamina limits imposed on other fantasy landscapes.
Have you ever regretted choosing two main characters? Don’t worry: Duet Night Abyss removes hanging carrots about what the other half are doing by incorporating a “double story” storyline.
To advance the story means making tracks with both male and female protagonists, providing a context that connects the big picture. Multiple dialog options and impression systems open branch routes. This double-story story plays a major role in the active effort of hero games, reducing the endless storytelling staircase that often covers similar adventures.
Are you tired of grabbing cool new characters and just get upset by the crushing of gearing them up? The Demon Wedge System removes the burden from increasing team attributes. Available through daily commissions, splitting weapon types and characters makes it easier to grab what you need. And there is no time limit at all, so you can experiment freely while clearing them.
The fixed attributes of unlocked artefacts mean that you don’t need to pour valuable resources into your work just to throw away the wrong statistics when you roll them. This grind is a single cheating, allowing multiple characters to use the same device at the same time. One solid run is worth the squad.
And what about Power Creep, which drives your favorite character out of practice? Or maybe you’re just getting frustrated that your cute new character doesn’t play to your strengths. Duet Night Abyss understands that too. Devil’s Wedge is more valuable than statistics. You can use them to completely change the way your characters play. You can develop skill mechanics, weapon characteristics can unlock all new attack patterns, and you can adjust your favorite character around the way you play.
One example is to turn it into a Filbert mount, a wild boar with engraved truffles. It gives you a way to literally bulldoze through the mob, and It presents another unique way to circulate around town.
Duet Night Abyss will be released worldwide on October 28th. And you don’t need to limit grinding to your desk. Supporting mobile devices and mutual progression allows you to get the perfect demon wedge at home and tweak your stats on the go.
Whether you’re exploring the world at your own pace or taking on a commission that attracts bold creatures, you can easily go on to unlock or upgrade new characters without the need for premium currency.
Hero Game wants you to feel rewarded for spending time in the enchanting world of Duet Night Abyss. Everything you need is earned by joining a core gameplay loop that stylishly shreds beast waves, customizing your roster that grows to your playstyle, and accepting breakaways from RNG-infused gacha mechanics. And like many of the greatest anime action games, the release date is just the beginning of its drastic storyline.
