What are the best Palworld Mods? A universal way for everyone to improve the game is to add mods to it, and open world games like Palworld are no exception. Games like Palworld usually attract modders for multiple reasons, from streamlining different mechanics to making things easier, to adding whole new creatures, enemies and environments.
The Palworld Modding community has developed several innovative tweaks to open world games to improve gameplay. From tweaking your HUD to snapping the perfect photo to adjusting variables to keep flying long in RPG games, we’ll show you the best mods in Palworld and how to install them.
The best Palworld mods are:
Genshin Implice NPCS
Palworld has entered the realm of crossovers along with the Terraria Update, which seems to have made the mod community think about what other games work well with RPG mechanics. Executive 33’s Genshin Impact character as an NPCS Mod brings six of the most popular party members to Palworld, including Yelan, Xilonen, Shenhe, Raiden Shogun, Dehya and Mavuika. You can capture all six NPCs and you’ll be given the opportunity to add a Genshin Impact party to your Palworld party.
Map Collectible Helper
Palpagos Island is overflowing with so many collectibles that it’s easy to overlook what’s under your nose. Map Collectables Helper is the best Palworld mod for any budding completionist, adding color-coded map markers that lead to statues, breasts, eggs, skill fruits and more. It can also be used to track material nodes for easy collection.
New Skill Fruit
Melwenmods’ new Skill Fruit Mod is a game changer if you’re the type of person who wants to have a specific skill with their ally. The base game forces them to breed your peers until they have exactly what you want, and if you are emotionally connected to your peers, it can be upsetting to have your favorite person retired. For example, you can target accurate skills such as absolute frost and use these fruits to create skilled fruit orchards.
Randomized captured PAL cages
Are you tired of releasing the same companions when you enter the enemy camp? Randomized captured PAL cages by ChazzVC mix things up by adjusting the PALS that can be found in the cage. In the base game, you will find 17 allies in these cages, but this mod allows you to capture in-game PALs that contain bosses. If you’re looking to do a “rescue companion only” playthrough, this mod is essentially.
Passive Skill Overhaul
It could be a boring experience of catching the same peers knowing they are basically the same. Luckily, Thegameace has created a passive skill overhaul mod that gives the characteristics of a new set whenever each PAL is born. It’s also a balanced mod that changes the effects of unused skills to make them more useful, giving you a reason to have multiple versions of the same ally.
Shiny companion
Fans of hardcore Pokemon will know everything about the challenges and tribulations that come with shiny hunting. And now you can experience that same pain and joy in Palworld with Zinkenite’s shiny Pals Mod. This mod adds new variations to 40 people and is added by Zinkenite every few months. You need an OK overhaul mod to use this, so keep that in mind. The mod runs on the client side. This means you can bring shiny companions when playing on a community server.
Para
If you’re sick and tired of sliding your peers together to try to make something better, you can use the Paledit mod to skip all the legwork. This simple mod implements a user interface to edit and create PALS directly within a saved file. You can edit characteristics, levels, and even statistics. Don’t forget to back up your saved files to prevent accidental wipes.
The endless weight of camping
The beauty of modifying a game is that you can define what “cheating” means to you. With Infinite Weight Mod, you can make decisions to give you unlimited storage space while camping. There are no trade-offs to this, but there are some rules you should look out for first. For example, this mod doesn’t work on dedicated servers, so if you want to enable it, you may need to play it offline.
Unlocked treasure chest
When you walk past a treasure chest, do you not have the key to open it? With the unlocked treasure chest mod, the treasure chest will automatically unlock, so you don’t have to worry about holding the key again. If you’re looking for easier time in Palworld, this mod certainly does the job as it prevents you from finding keys across the land.
There are no limits on status points
Do you remember Pikachu from Ash from the Pokemon manga series? The pair is inseparable and may have something to do with Pikachu being ridiculously overwhelmed given how often Ash used it. Without the limits of status point mods by Moxxyhaven, you can take your favorite companions and push them to impossible levels. If you really want to keep your peers unstoppable, this mod could be exactly what you need.
Always fast travel
The Palpagos Islands are vast archipelagos, growing with each major renewal. A great eagle statue can take you so far, but you have to rely on your fellow mounts to reach your final destination regularly…until now. Fast travel from anywhere allows you to quickly teleport every corner of the map. Bonus movement speed is thrown in properly. This is perfect for players who want to go anywhere, whether it’s about dealing with merchants or cornering their peers in far away places.
Better night light
Palworld at night is a very boring look, but better night light mods by Lpyro add a splash of colour to the sky to provide the atmosphere you need. Compared to the base game, this mod is much brighter than usual, so keep that in mind before you start sending constructive criticism to mod creators.
Save the editor
You want to transfer via your character to a new server, but don’t you want something complicated that this could cause in-game? Use the Save Editor Mod in MagicBearmo to seamlessly transfer characters such as items, money, companions and more. There is no need to use purely programs to transfer characters. You can add items, PALs, or guilds to each character to make sure they have everything they need.
There is no food collapse
Palworld has some mechanics that are clearly included to make things more challenging, but that doesn’t mean they’ll complain if they leave suddenly. One of them is a rotting food. Certainly, it adds the extra element of having to put your food in a cooler thing and get an ice buddy to keep it a little longer, but that’s an extra buddy you can have forged weapons. Thankfully, No Food Decay Mod removes that little detail from your Palworld base and allows you to focus on the more important things, knowing that your peers will never get hungry.
Stackpal Rescuer
This mod is almost essential and I highly recommend giving it a try if you’ve ever had the problem of your peers getting stuck in a strange place and not being able to do their job. Fixing an annoying Palworld bug, Stack Pal Rescue Mod realizes that the companions have not been running for a while and returns them to Palbox. Of course, they don’t work there, so that’s not ideal yet, but at least solve the first problem.
Legally clear pocket creature mod
You may have heard of the PalworldModpack, created by Toastedshoes, which we have introduced already Actual Pokemon For the game. Ashketchum appeared as a player character who captures creatures. Well, less than a week later, the mod turned into dust as it was issued by the creator with a copyright request from Nintendo. clearly.
He’s already bouncing back, turning the original Pokémon mod into a legally different pocket creature and then converting it into a Palworld mod pack, which is a fun parody. Look at the yellow rat! Instead of Ash Ketchum, you will now play as toast shoes – of course wearing a red and white hat. Pikachu, I mean Kattiva and now I am “yellow rat.” Woo, I mean lamb balls and now I am “knitted sheep.” And so on. Honestly, I think this is even better than the original Toastedshoes mod.
PAL IVS
IV separates casual players from Pokemon hardcore trainers, and the same applies to Palworld. IV is the individual value of each PAL, allowing an edge to be given above the baseline of the species. The PAL IVS MOD reveals these hidden statistics, picks out those that are cut more than the other statistics, and can put together the teams of All-Star winners.
Remove flight stamina cost
When you first reach out to your flying companion, the last thing you want to do is to think about how much it will take to keep you in the air. Removing the Flying Stamina Cost Mod gives you the freedom to explore the map without the pressure of having to take a constant break.
Weight increase
Another RPG staple, the default carryweight limit, is too low for most players, so there is a carryweight increase mod. Increases the starting carry weight limit from 300 to 1,000, increases the gain per point to 250, and significantly changes the amount you can hold at any time.
Adjusting the game
If you don’t like certain aspects of Palworld, use the game’s Tweaks mod to adjust some of the variables you don’t enjoy. From adjusting the stats you gain with each level to increasing your chances of finding rare companions in the wild, this mod provides the power to customize Palworld into your favorite game.
Switch HUD
Palworld’s HUD starts to get messy as soon as you start building your first base. With multiple peers walking around, it can be difficult to take a nice photo with so many HUD elements taking up the frame. Luckily, Toggle Hud Mod offers the option to completely remove HUD, making it easy to take the perfect photo.
Steam Deck Essentials
Palworld is not the toughest game to play on a handheld gaming PC, but it can certainly work well with a few tweaks. Fortunately, Modder Hybred is about bringing together files with the most important graphics settings to run your games smoothly on a portable PC. The Steam Deck Essentials mod works on Asus Rog Ally, Legion Go and several other devices, so even if you don’t have a Steam Deck, it’s definitely worth trying out this mod.
Enhanced visuals
On the other side of the computer hardware spectrum, if you’re keeping an eye on the game to make it even better, Francislouis’ expanded visual mods can help you achieve just that. This mod works by disabling some of the post-processing effects introduced to optimize the game for weaker hardware, but this mod allows you to undo those changes and increase the view distance, among other things. Also, if your PC can handle it, you can increase the internal resolution of the game, making everything look clearer and sharper.
Mapunlocker
This handy map Unlocker Mod displays the full map, removes the fog of war from unexplored regions and allows you to see all the regions on the Palworld map. It works in multiplayer and has been tested on both the Steam Pass and Game Pass versions of Palworld. The mod reveals the entire map, but fast travel points are not active. You need to make it accessible from the base and trek to these.
Remake the character
This remake character mod allows you to view the character creation screen in-game by pressing CTRL + K to change the appearance. In the base game, once you select the first look, the creation of the character is final. But if you’re like us and find it interesting to have your character with strange proportions and bright purple, you might want to think twice.
Stormtrooper
Star Wars fans are delighted. The mod community is stuck with its desire to add Stormtroopers to the game as much as possible, and Palworld is no exception. By installing this Stormtrooper Mod, human enemies you will encounter in the game, such as Free Pal Alliance members, will exist as Stormtroopers. Is there anything missing from this game?
Visible PAL Capture Counter
It is no secret that the more pels you capture for each type of capturing, the more experience you will gain. This visible capture mod shows the number of PALs that you’ve caught so far, right next to the name in the game. This allows you to see how many times you’ve caught your allies without going through the Paldeck.
Diamond Axe and Piccax
Technically there are two separate mods, but many of these diamond x and diamond mods are essential for all resource harvesting needs. Well, that’s not the case. They’re visual tweaks in the game to make your x and Pitax look similar to Minecraft classics, but it’s nice to have, right?
Zoe’s costume
You will meet Zoe early and fairly early in your palworld adventure. She is one of the bosses of Palworld and she is one of the most fashionable people you will meet in the entire game. The community has created a costume mod for Zoe, meaning that you can add hair, accessories and outfits to your player’s characters.
Basic mini map
This basic minimap mod does what we say to our relief a lot. Minimap is added to the bottom corner of the screen and automatically hides itself during battle, so it doesn’t interfere with the view. It’s simple, but it’s one of the most useful Palworld mods I’ve ever found.
PAL Analyzer
One of the best Pal World mods for anyone who hunts or catches mates and wonders which of your mates will work against them. The PAL Analyzer allows you to view statistics by hovering the cursor up and holding the left Alt key. You can see statistics such as attacks and defense. Unlocks the statistical layers zero, 5, and 10.
What makes this mod even better is that this feature doesn’t unlock immediately, and still needs to work on it, giving it a more vanilla vibe and isn’t like a cheat. Rather than being able to see statistics right away, you need to catch a certain number of that PAL species before you look at the statistics of that species in the future.

When you download the palworld mod from the list above, most people have their own installation instructions. Normally you will need to go to the Palworld Mods folder on your PC and modify the “mods.txt” file.
The file string you are looking for should be “Steam\SteamApps\Common\Palworld\Pal\Binaries\Win64\mods”.

When will Palworld Mods land at Steam Workshop?
Palworld Mods are currently not available in Steam Workshops, but you can access Nexus Mods instead. We don’t know when mod support via Steam Workshop will be added to the game, such as whether it will take place during or after Palworld’s early access period.
Here’s what the developer had to say about mod support in his Steam FAQ session: “Steam Workshop Support will not be supported anytime soon, but will be added after launch. Palworld is made with Unreal Engine 5.
Once you have installed the best Palworld Mods, check out the Palworld Mods to see what you want to hunt first.
