The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 may have an awkwardly long name, but it’s a great top-tier lightweight gaming mouse. Combined with excellent shapes suitable for a wide range of grip styles, it suits a very low weight of 60g, but provides 95 hours of battery life per charge.
You can easily switch between wireless or wired connection modes and make sure you don’t need to stop gaming to charge or replace the battery, like the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed.
There are also huge fans of the fact that this mouse supports Logitech’s PowerPlay Wireless Charging Tech. Get your Logitech PowerPlay MousePad and you can use this mouse wirelessly without charging.

The Corsair M75 Air can fit in an incredible 60g, packing a battery that can be used for up to 100 hours in Bluetooth mode. Battery life drops to about 60 hours on a 2.4GHz wireless connection, but it mainly offers no lower drop than the polling rate of 2,000Hz, but costs enough to pass a week of play.
Like many performance-oriented gaming mice, the Corsair M75 Air is relatively light in functionality, but its performance is solid, clean, and simply symmetrical design makes it suitable for a wide range of hand sizes and grip styles.
Importantly, the typical price isn’t a true budget option at around $99, but it’s significantly cheaper than many range-top wireless mice from other competitors. If you prefer something like the Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2, but can’t stretch it out to a higher price, the M75 Air is a great alternative.

This means that if you want to hold the mouse with your fingers and hold as much space as possible under the palm of your hand, then use the grip style, this mouse will provide it. If you prefer a little more hand support, it won’t suit your taste, but we think it will do a little better on the nail grip as well.

If you’re chasing a top-notch wireless gaming mouse with a more relaxed, ergonomic stance that’s suitable for palm grips, the Deathadder V4 Pro is one. It’s expensive, but it really offers super competitive gaming performance and comfort.
Importantly, the DeathAdder V4 Pro uses a rechargeable unit, as the Viper V3 Hyperspeed is a wireless-only mouse that uses an AA battery. This can also be plugged in for use with cables, so you won’t get caught shortly with a dead mouse without a spare battery. Also, the Razer was able to make this mouse incredibly lighter. This is 7G lower than the previous V3 Pro, while adding 50% to battery life.
You miss Bluetooth. This is a feature added to several other wireless options, this is a back mouse that has been peeled off in terms of buttons and additional features. But right after a mouse with this style of performance, it can also deliver the item and make both black and white variants available.
The high price of this mouse is slightly compensated by the inclusion of a polling rate wireless dongle of 8kHz. This is an optional upgrade for the 8kHz mouse. Ultimately, there is no doubt about this mouse’s chart topping performance credentials. It’s only a high price to pay for a small increase in the capacity it offers.

The Razer DeathAdder V3 is the latest in the long line of DeathAdder mice, with the latest version offering a 59G design that is very easy to move in. However, the ergonomic core death shape remains, making this a large mouse ideal for covering your hands for hours of comfortable gaming.
As for its features, it is a basic mouse with five buttons at the top and a DPI switching button at the bottom. It’s also just a wired mouse. However, its simplicity makes it a reliable tool for intense gaming battles, with the 30K sensor providing perfect tracking performance.
It’s not an outstanding value, I wish the scroll wheel landing had been a little more defined, but I love this mouse shape. If you want a reliable, comfortable, lightweight gaming mouse with no additional costs and no battery life concerns, then this is the mouse you can get. If you want wireless, you always have the DeathAdder V3 Pro.

The Pixart 3395 sensor performance is great even for perfect tracking performance, but the buttons are officially the fastest speed on the planet, so there is a minimal delay between thinking about firing and what happens on the screen. Polling rates up to 8kHz also ensure extremely smooth tracking.
While some mice can be argued that they have most of the core performance characteristics mentioned above, it is their small extra that is actually setting the OP1 8K. The cable bends upwards when you leave the mouse, reducing cable drag. It also provides easy access to the inside of the mouse that contains the driver, allowing you to replace the switch or perform repairs. You can buy a wide range of replacements to plug in – no soldering required. Also put spare skates and grips in the box.
The 8kHz polling version of this mouse is very expensive – not at a crazy price, but if you want the ultimate performance without battery concerns, it’s a great option. On the other hand, if you’re happy with the 1kHz poll, the non-8K OP1 is a great purchase for just $50.

The big feature of the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro 35K is its scroll wheel. You can switch between normal notch spin and completely free spin modes. Just a flick of your finger, the wheel rotates smoothly for 5-10 seconds, bringing super-fast scrolling to your fingertips. Additionally, the two modes can be automatically switched to each other, making it slower to precisely speed up the speed of high-speed scrolling.
The wheel can also tilt left and right to provide two programmable buttons. There is also an additional button in front of the thumb, and two buttons above the mouse provide even more functionality.
Additionally, this mouse can be connected to your PC or other device via wire, wireless, or Bluetooth. It all makes for a great mouse as an all-around productivity, gaming and travel.
The main drawback to note is that its battery life is not surprising, and only lasts for 2-3 days between fees, and you actually need an overnight fee to avoid annoying your daily top-up. It’s also pretty heavy and not cheap at all, but it’s the best in the class.

The MMO mouse is about providing a large number of additional buttons so that you can fire a large number of actions when you press one button. The bad solution many MMO mice have taken to achieve this is to paint small loads, like Corsais Scimitar and Razer Naga, which are difficult to press the extra button under the thumb area of the mouse. Kone XP does things in a much more sensible way.
Although there aren’t as many buttons as Scimitar (17) and Naga (20), all the 15 buttons on the Kone XP are positioned to easily reach and push precisely. There are two add buttons just to the left of the regular left click button, two rows of two buttons under the normal rear/front thumb button, an add button under the thumb, and a button at the top of the mouse. Not only are these buttons all accessible, but by leaving space for your thumb, this mouse is much easier to grip various grip styles.
All this and the owl eye sensor are stunningly tracked, and the RGB lighting shines through the translucent casing is truly dazzling. The mouse is a bit heavier than the latest Ultralight options at 104g, but not too bad given the extra buttons.

Of course, prices are a big factor, and while many of the top gaming mice demand over $150, they cost much less and still get great results. Mice that are far below this are beginning to compromise very heavily on build quality and performance.
Another important question is: Do you need a wired or wireless mouse? Most wireless mice can also be used with wires, but some such as the Razer Viper V3 Hyperspeed are only available either. With a wired connection, you typically get the lowest possible latency, uninterrupted connections, and low prices.
However, the latest wireless options can offer similarly excellent performance, long battery life, surprisingly low weight, and of course, wireless versatility, including Bluetooth connectivity. If you want to be wireless, our best wireless gaming mouse guide covers only these options.
The number of mouse buttons and overall functionality is listed below. Some mice focus on peeled back performance with ultra-low weight, few buttons, and high-end switches and sensor specifications, such as the Logitec G Pro X Superlight 2 and Corsair M75 Air. These styles of mouse are our biggest choice for playing competitive games where high precision is your number one priority and are perfect for fingertip grip gamers.
At the other end of the spectrum is a mouse like the Logitech G502 X Plus or Roccat Kone XP. These still have great sensors and switches, but they also contain plenty of additional buttons and other features. The downside of these mice is that extras can get in the way in the heat of combat and tend to gain even more weight. However, a single mouse is the perfect option to flip between daily work and casual games, and it tends to prefer a more relaxed palm grip.
Finally, it’s the ergonomics and shape of the mouse. For those looking for an agile, lightweight mouse for competitive games, smaller, slimmer and simpler symmetrical designs tend to be the best choice. Most of these are most optimized for fingertip grips, but can be used in many grip styles. However, it makes this specialization an extreme, such as the Cherry Xtrfy MZ1, which can only be used with fingertip grips.

What is the palm, nail, and fingertip mouse grip?
Gaming mice look very similar to the shoes you wear in that they don’t fit the real one size. Before choosing the right one for you, you will want to pay attention to how to move your rodents around the mouse pad. There are generally three grip styles that can be used for reference.
The palm grip is where the palm sits completely on the back of the mouse. This is the least fatigued in your hand, but it is not as versatile or accurate as other grips, and relies more on full arm movement for accuracy.
The fingertip grip is where you use your fingers to control the movement of the mouse, and you usually grip the sides of the mouse with your thumb and pinky finger (or sometimes pinky and ring finger) without the help of the palm. Your wrist rests on your chosen game desk or mouse pad at the back of the mouse. This tends to be most accurate, but can cause more fatigue on the wrists and fingers and cause rsi.
The claw grip is a combination of the previous two. What DPI is suitable for your game?
This depends on the type of game you are playing, the desk/mousepad space you need to control, and the in-game sensitivity you have chosen.
As for game types, if you’re playing an FPS where precise purpose is important, you’ll have a hard time playing it accurately with more than 800dpi. This is the recommended range for games such as CS2 and Valorant. For slightly faster-paced titles where purpose and accuracy are still important, your objectives will generally suffer, as they can move round and quickly, but you might want to be 1,200-1,600 dpi. Other genres such as real-time strategies that require you to quickly flick your mouse across the screen may want to play a little higher than this.
As for how desk space and mouse pads are factors in the equation, very simply put, you can go to a lower DPI. However, if you only have a 6-inch square mouse pad space, you may need to increase the DPI.
Finally, DPI always works in conjunction with the sensitivity of gaming and Windows mouse. You should always set Windows sensitivity to 10 and always turn off “Enhance Pointer Accuracy” so that it doesn’t affect the raw DPI input of the mouse. After that, in the game, you should usually start by setting the game’s sensitivity below 1, and make sure the game takes the raw input of the mouse and reduces it, not increasing it. If it’s multiplying it, you lose accuracy – raise your DPI instead.
