All wuchang is a wing boss
The table below lists the bosses of Wuchang Fallen Feathers in roughly order that they become available. This table is updated regularly as you meet more bosses in the game.
Bosses are organized into two types – key bosses needed to advance the story, Causal Shieldand is known as a non-key boss. Please send me Woochan.
1. Bike
- Boss Type: SankharaWuchang (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The rise of worship – a respectful temple
- position: From the temple with a respect, head down the stairs and talk to the sailors by the fire. He will send you into dreamy realms where you will encounter a bike cul. There’s only one chance to defeat your boss.
Bai Kru is your typical “you won’t beat this guy as a beginner” soul-like boss. This fight offers a good opportunity to practice the escaping mechanic of the Ushan Fallen Feathers, also known as the Shimmer. Defeating Bai Kru is difficult, but it can be done if you are skilled at dodging arm strikes and water spill attacks. When you die, you will respawn in the temple of a venerable temple and the boatmen will disappear.
2. Tan Palace Maid
- Boss Type: SankharaWuchang (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The rise of worship – Buddha’s cliff
- position: From the shrine on the Buddha cliff, climb the platform from the cave. There are some changes in elevation here. Eventually you will come to a platform overlooking the area on the left where the maids of the Tang Palace wander.
Tang Palace Maid serves as a mini tutorial on how to build the value of boss erasure. Circle around her and use a heavy charged attack to leave her vulnerable to good explosive strikes – you can also drop down on her from above with a light attack for the same effect. Beware of her staff and attacks that will suck your blood if you get too close. Also, blasting her from afar with Vorpal Blade Spell is completely feasible.
3. Master Raider – Man Ainged Tanga
- Boss Type: Causal Shield (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The rise of worship – Light temples
- position: From the shrine, go up the stairs, through the courtyard, then circling around the building to settle the other side.
Dutanga acts as the first real boss of Wuchang Fallen Feather, another reminder for Dodge/Shimmer Mechanics, and as a tutorial on how to deal extra damage if you consume a stack of Skybones.
Practice will be perfect with Dotanga – learn his cleaning combo and the patterns of smashing his feet, and if you’re having problems, dash backwards and blow him off repeatedly with the Volpal Blade. When his health is reduced by half, he will strengthen his attacks with fires and release an AOE eruption that will kill you if your HP is low.
4. Feather Priest-Lu Bingzhang
- Boss Type: SankharaWuchang (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The rise of worship – shu sanctum
- position: Go to the top of Shu Sanctum and enter the ominous door on the right.
Lu Bingzhang is the evil uncle in the attic, a feather victim who unleashes attacks from above and introduces corruption. Dodges the purple rot mass he is throwing, dealing feather damage, just like his red projectile.
Here, armor with good rot and feather relief is worth it. If you have any issues, you can call Nian Yushun.
5. The Foody Monster – Lu Hongliu
- Boss Type: SankharaWuchang (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The rise of worship – shu sanctum
- position: To find Lu Hongliu, you will need to thoroughly search the villages near Shu Sanctum. (Along the way, you can unleash the rise of worship – Analam Shrine.) Continue searching for the highlands, you will eventually reach a fork on the road overlooking the roof of Shu Sanctum. The path on the far left leads to a series of bloody stairs that open to the house Runliu in the courtyard of the temple. However, it’s worth going the middle path first, as Wuchang encounters a tree that she can knock over and use as a makeshift bridge, and provides Shu Sanctum with a handy shortcut on the back.
It’s completely overlooked, but the super cool (and scary) boss Lu Hongliu turns out to be tricky when using heavy, slow weapons, mainly x and spears.
My recommendation is to go with something more agile like a longsword or one-handed sword, and to soften the weapon with a bone needle – fire and attack as Lu Hongliu kneels on the ground and spits blood. This increases the value of her burn. In 50% health, Lu Hongliu screams. While this is happening, strafe around her and stab her from behind.
6. Blightweaver – Amazing Centipede
- Boss Type: Causal Shield (Key Boss)
- Nearest shrine: The Rise of Worship – Bandit Cave
- position: After proceeding towards the bottom of the mine under Shu Sanctum, you will arrive at Bandit Cave Shrine. Looking back, you’ll see a terrible, covered corpse that is easy to interact with. (It will appear when you receive a message about feeling invincible.) Pass the body, follow the wooden slope down, then turn right and enter the boss chamber.
This big ol’ bug will attack you with pincer attacks that will cause burns and tail strikes that will cause rotten burns. Both attacks can avoid obstacles, especially if you are wearing right armor. You can also fight fire by burning.
In Half Health, Blightweaver switches things up by creating blue sigils that blow up laser beams throughout the arena. Dodging these is easy – just hop backwards, but dig a hole underground and track the movement before it breaks freely in a lava blast. If you see a lava marker on the ground below you, pay attention and dodge it. If you are experiencing problems, spit your ears – Brightweaver will make two prominent holes dig sounds (indicating you are chasing you) before gushing freely. Repeat this hole-digging strategy four times before it fully emerges from Earth.
It’s stopped here for now, but more boss strategies for Ushan Fallen Feather are coming soon!
