Where can I find the secret tapes for THPS 3+4? THP has some specific goals. It’s about destroying point scores, collecting floating letters, finding secret tapes. These tapes are hidden in levels and are often places that initially seem unreachable. If you want to 100% of the game, you need to find all of these tapes.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 gave me a huge dose of nostalgia. Muscle memories have rekindled and we have been getting high scores so they have nothing, but one collision on the road was a way to get all those nasty secret tapes. This is the location of all the secret tapes on THPS 3+4 to make your journey to skateboarding dominance much easier.

Foundry
At the first level of THPS, many people are interested in crushing melted buckets and turn to secret tape hunts. This is pretty simple. The secret tape is located in the center of the room just beyond the glass control room. You can use the quarter pipe at the far end of the foundry to increase speed, then catapart the small kicker. Grinse along the digits to collect secret tapes.
Canada
From the heat of casting to the lovely snowy Canadian climate, this level is much larger than the last level, and secret tapes require more work. Once you start your run, immediately turn left and jump into the snowy cabin and into the wooden corridor next to where your nose is around the horn goal.
Lift the wooden passageway until you reach the half pipe. There is a switch to the left that needs to be crushed. Doing that will raise the halfpipe and allow you to access another platform above. Skate to the end of this platform, then grind Ollie Off and the right edge rail. If done correctly, you will be able to reach the secret tape at the end of the pass.
Suburbs
Given the dense level of the suburbs, finding secret tapes is not too difficult. First, you need to help the thin man open the haunted house. When you’re inside the house, you need to move from quarter pipe to quarter pipe and place it in your backyard. Use the lamp here to travel to the top floor of the house. Here you can get out of the window and grind the tree branches outside, grab a secret tape in the process.
airport
The airport is at Ab level, starting from the check-in desk and ending at the departure gate. To get the secret tape, you will need to proceed to the end of the level, turn right, and follow the entire window, using the grind spot on the wall. If you’re struggling to maintain balance, there are a few quarter pipes and kickers that you can use to gain speed and height.
Los Angeles
Los Angeles is the biggest level you’ve ever seen on THP, and if you’re looking for a secret tape, the vast nature of the city’s streets could be a real head scratcher. To get the opportunity to access collectibles, you must first launch an earthquake and collapse the elevated tracks.
If you cause a natural disaster, you can immediately use the wire to the left as you start running and get on top of the city hall building. From here, Ollie rises up to the elevated tracks and jumps to the roof of a skyscraper using a newly created kicker. Bounce up onto the adjacent roof and crush your lips into corners. From here, you can grind small pipes across the ollies and collect secret tapes.
Cruise ship
Swapping the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles for a gentle cruise ship will find secret tapes at this level fairly easily – you don’t even need to raise the ferry. Once you start running, grind the high wires (the same ones that have to be flipped) running along the centre of the ship, then jump off at the end to land on a large platform. Use this makeshift half-pipe to acquire air and collect secret tapes in the process.
All THPS 4 Secret Tape Locations
College
I’m back in school at the first level of THPS 4. The area here is very large, but fortunately, secret tapes don’t require much work to find. Make a beeline on the other side of the area and go to a place where you can settle – look for a tall, thin tower. Head behind the tower and enter through an open door, where you will be transported to the top. Catch the grind along the way and pick up a simple secret tape.
San Francisco
San Francisco tapes do a little more work, but not enough to save the painter Neil from the death of his watery teeth. I stop by and head left to the hospital. Use the sloped passage to level up and turn left again. Use the quarter pipe to move through yet another level. Here you can use the lips of the building to crush them.
Alcatraz
You need a little leg to get a secret tape with Alcatraz. First, you need to free the prisoners by searching for five trash bins scattered around the map, collecting the keys inside the final key, and unlocking the cell blocks at the top of the hill. This opens up various skate hijink cell blocks.
Once you open the building, head inward and use one of the quarter pipes to launch yourself and catch the highest possible crush. Jump off the rails and look for two open windows. The secret tape is just outside the left tape, so get speed, jump up and down and collect rewards.
Water Park
The water park is huge and it’s easy to get lost in the chaos of water slides and other highly skateable theme park attractions. To get a secret tape in the water park, finish the first slide and proceed immediately, searching for the arcade. Next to the arcade is an open door that you can enter and is carried to the top of the dual boomerang slide. Follow the slides and get some speed as you go. Once you have some air in the backend, you will see secret tapes from your base to collect.
Shipyard
A small but extremely dense area, shipyards can be nightmare to navigate when they don’t slow down. That’s exactly what you have to do to collect secret tapes here. Once you start running, head left and follow the rail track on the ground, then quickly head right down the alley. Enter the open door and teleport to the rooftop. To your right, you will notice a vent of air. You will slowly ride from the edge of this air vent and collect secret tapes along the way.
London
To pick up this level of secret tape, you need to be high above the din on London Street. Once you start running, head straight and use the monument to raise yourself to the right and catch the ground at the top of the jump. If done correctly, you’ll be shot down to the right and head towards the roof. Use a quarter pipe to transfer the spine to the next roof and then transfer the spine again to collect secret tapes.
Pinball
The neon confusion, which is pinball, is seemingly confusing, but there are plenty of clean lines to help you get it. The secret tape is hung high above the giant hawk skull to your left as you begin to run. To get to it, you can go past the skull and past the back near the multiball target area planted in the wall, and move from the lower quarter pipe to the top pipe fairly easily, then turn right and fire towards the secret tape using a giant kicker.
