Tales of the Shire has lots to unlock and discover, from finding new fishing locations to discover new areas on the map. You can also unlock the cooking station to liven up the best meals for new friends in craft games, but you will need to learn their cravings and favorite meals first.
The story of Shire’s cravings
At Tales of the Shire, your Hobbit friends are looking for a specific meal or taste. Their cravings can be bitter, salty, sweet, sour or spicyand they usually crave the same flavor, but you can’t find it until the day of the meal, where they share the flavor they crave.
You can adapt your favorite diet with certain flavored seasonings and ingredients, such as using sour fish to make it sour with a crispy fish pies. A letter will be sent to your meal morning post informing you of the flavor you have chosen. Some meals have a specific flavour, but seasonal dishes change their flavour depending on the ingredients and seasonings used. It is also worth noting that the ingredients allow for the collection of village changes seasonally, as do vegetables that can grow and produce from village squares.
Shah’s Favorite Diet Story
In addition to the flavor, you should consider your favorite meal. This should help you prepare in advance by planting and growing the right vegetables and buying produce in town. Characters’ favorite meals also change with each season. Some people may fantasize about fruit tarts in the summer, but in autumn there is warm stew.
This guide contains minor spoilers so read only if you are happy to know each Hobbit’s cravings. We’ve also added it to this guide, but once we discover more, we’ll update with all the cravings of each season.
