What’s the best PC game of 2025? Whether you’re just looking for something to spend your time, or you have a pile of virtual money and burn holes in your virtual wallet, the latest PC games are new and shiny, so give it a try.

There’s as much load as we love to re-ignite our favorite classics New PC Games That also deserves some attention. From big budget RPG games to indie strategy games, there’s something for everyone. No matter what you’re doing, keep all the latest and biggest releases on up to date.

The best PC games of 2025 are:

Mafia Old Country

Returning the series to its roots, Mafia the Old Country is a tale of a worn-out mob set in the beautiful, brutal Sicily of the 1900s. Enzo’s role dedicates his life to crime boss Don Trisi, while he fights to prove his worth to his family.

It quickly rises to rank, pressure builds up, intensifying Enzo’s role within the criminal organization, leading to an epic finale. In Reid’s Mafia The Old Country Review, “Small character work, mood setting, straight action” is all the standouts of this action-adventure game.

wuchang fallen wings

Taking Chinese history and culture as inspiration, Ushan Fallen Feather is like a wonderful soul traveling through the ancient Shu region in search of your lost sisters. In a review of Wuchang Fallen Feathers, Nat said Wuchang “exceeds all expectations.” This is like souls “not satisfied to settle down with the pale imitation of FromSoftware”.

Its launch has proven to have some technical teething issues with performance issues, but thanks to post-release updates, it’s a new soul-like game that you can’t miss.

Roadcraft

We’re biased towards simulation games, but few people are as enthusiastically impressed as Roadcraft in Saber Interactive. This surprise follow-up to Snowrunner, Mudrunner, and Spintires will reuse off-road foundations with more humane goals in mind. Reconstructing infrastructure after a natural disaster.

In our RoadCraft review, Ed called it “one of the best games of the year,” saying, “the results are expressed in millimeters and single foot pressure.” Successful success in spreading asphalt, leveling roads, and lifting concrete is determined by the tactile sensation in the digital space of Roadcraft, rather than the usual endemic procession in survival games. Progress is slow and often laborious, but with that, I am satisfied with a well-made job.

Yellow car rounding the corner on F1 25.

F1 25

There are very few outfit masters in the racing game series that can change every year. For the F1 25, the focus was almost completely squared to how driving felt. Hitting a track on a super-powerful machine is the best thing for a long time.

In a review of F1 25, Toby Durant said that the game “feats a more powerful driving experience and attention to detail than its predecessor, bringing a huge change to my team and breathing a new life into mode. It’s not a revolution, but it’s definitely Codemasters’ best F1 game.”

The fate of the dark ages

The fateful trilogy comes to an end with a prequel that tells the story of the fateful murderer and his hatred for the power of the devil. The Dark Ages focuses on the lore behind Slayer, featuring more cutscenes than both Doom 2016 and Eternal Combined. Equip a shield saw to block and parry incoming attacks, using this tool aggressively to break through shields, slice feed, and slam them against enemies.

The Dark Ages utilize the power of the ID Tech 8 engine to create massive levels filled with secrets and upgrades. To avoid these levels, you have access to dragons that you can use to fly around the environment while destroying everything in your path. There is also a level of control over Atlan Mech, essentially turning Doom Slayer into a huge, huge monster. Take a look at the reading of Aaron’s fate in the dark ages and see what this archer shines.

clear clear nabure: expedition 33

Sandfall Interactive’s stunning debut game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has risen from obscurity (Ahem) to become a surprise Goty candidate for 2025. Between the weapons, skills, and picts of Expedition 33, there is ample scope to experiment with Claire’s obscure builds.

Of course, the mechanics are everything and not the final one, and Expedition 33 has a chop of the story to prove it. What begins as an unfortunate expedition to stop the erasing of friends and family lives in Lumiere, the fateful city of destiny becomes a transcendent portrait of sadness captured in dramatic moments that have brought people like Andy Serkis, Ben Starr and Jennifer English to life. In the Clair Obscur Expedition 33 review, Josh sees it as a “new modern classic” for fantasy game fans, so don’t sleep.

Forgetting has been remastered

From anywhere, a remastered version of the beloved Elder Scroll Classic has arrived to bring veteran players back to the crude creases of nostalgic gameplay and seduce new players with their shiny makeovers. Skyrim is the majority of the first venture into Elder Scrolls, but Oblivion paved the way, and Stealth Landing was happy to meet people who wanted to sink into the game of hours long scrolls before the Elder Scrolls 6 release date arrived.

As Nat said in her remaster review of Forgetting, “Did you need a remaster of Forgetting? I don’t think so. The original is outdated, but it’s not enough to play. If there is, Morrowind screams for such a treatment.

The best new PC game: blue wall with door frame in the center. The boy walks through another door in the distance.

Blue Prince

A tantalizing mix of puzzle games and Roguelike, Blue Prince snatches the crown from the back of Baratoro’s closet in this year’s Indie Darling. The Blue Prince is imposing you, a young man with a very wealthy grandfather, to find a secret room in a large estate. If you can find this room, the real estate belongs to you.

The friction here is that the real estate is blank and only appears when the room opens the door. There are choices from three blueprints (get it) per room, and you need to find a way around the property. However, moving around is only half the challenge, as there are a lot of both obvious and hidden puzzles that need to be solved to get a sense of the situation.

It’s calm, creepy and wonderful. Read more about PK’s Blue Prince reviews if you want to know more. This is a game that I sincerely recommend to people who love challenges, but I don’t want to rush.

A man and a giant cat character talking in Promise Mascot Agency.

We promise a mascot agent

The promised mascot agency is, in a nutshell. In this open world game from the creators of Paradise Killer, the brand’s mascot explores the vibrant, cursed Japanese towns. Recruit them and then work through management sim mini games, hunting the truth behind the disbandment of the clan from the range of rusty pickup trucks.

In the Mirimad Mascot Agency Review, Miri quotes some important inspiration – “Pokemon, Fatal Premonition, Yakuza, Yo – Kai Watch, Persas, Crazy Taxi, Viva Pinata (and more) – but in this case the performance believes. In turn, the cheerful and loving mascot agency is 2025 Oddball indie game.

Best New PC Game: Yellow Robot Walks towards the Player with Plunger

Atomic Power

Dismissing traditional areas related to nuclear disasters, Atomfall was inspired by the 1957 Front Scale Fire, and then plunges us into the Maryor England – the Cumbrian region of the northwest, more specifically. Here you can join Skullduggery in any kind of small town within the quarantine zone.

Although he began his life as a humble tech demo to showcase the engines of developer Rebellion, Atomfall quickly evolved into an evil little RPG. At first glance, Bethesda-esque looks very common, but if you dig a little deeper, you’ll be treated to an incredibly immersive jant throughout the British countryside.

If Atomfall is a fantasy, first check if the Atomfall game pass is something before using the suite of guides for spins.

The best new PC game: Yasuke fights in heavy armor

Shadow of the assassin’s beliefs

Ubisoft spent a sweet time setting up the Assassin’s Creed game in Japan. AC Shadows certainly most are not disappointed. Reid wasn’t too close to praise in his AC Shadows reviews, but both critics and fans had a much more positive experience in this open world adventure.

Whether you’re taking targets from the shadows as a fleet foot nae or plowing hordes of enemies as a single arm Yasuke, AC Shadows offers playstyle options that fans of both the original sandbox banger and modern titans can enjoy. Please make sure to help with our AC Shadows guide in large quantities to make life a little easier.

Best new game: two people wearing fantasy outfits and a very small dragon.

Divided fiction

The latest Co-op Adventure from Hazelight Studios is Split Fiction, where you (and friends) put you (and friends) in the shoes of two aspiring writers drawn into the world created from novels. In a review of Split Fiction, Lauren talks about controlling pigs, farting for unicorns, and being asked to cook for herself. It’s a must-see if you run a range of inspiration and ingenuity and have companions looking to travel with you.

Best New PC Games: A Busy Museum

2 Point Museum

The Two Points Series is one of the best if you’re chasing familiar management sims filled with imaginative gameplay loops, plenty of customization options and witty, witty choirs. The latest installment, Two Point Museum, continues to trend, shifting away from hospitals and universities, and instead manages a bustling heritage home.

“Though the Two Point Museum has come to expect from two points studios, its imaginative approach to Heritage guarantees the magic of many museums,” writes Aaron in the Two Point Museum Review. “It boasts a wider range of themes, endless explorations and more ornamental options than you can swing your dinosaur femur. You will become the one who will be excavated after sinking countless hours of life into this addictive management sim.”

Monster Hunter Wild

The world can be divided into two types of people: those who love Monster Hunter and those who tried to love Monster Hunter. Thankfully, Wilds smoothes out the early learning curve slightly, making the first few hours much more appealing than before.

Wilds still brings best in class combat to the table. As you can see in our Monster Hunter Wiles review, our comfortable and in-house veteran Ken is very enjoying his time in the RPG. This type of game cannot be found anywhere else. Even the slightest tendency to beat giant lizards about their heads with a giant trumpet should try it.

The Kingdom Comes to Rescue 2

While it’s rare to see such a dramatic quality leaps in just one sequel, Warhorse Studios blew most people’s expectations with the launch of the Kingdom.

Henry isn’t like the traditional knight you might see in a regular RPG. He is extremely clumsy, he is poor and he has a terrible amount to pass through on his KCD2 quest list. Luckily, we can help make his life (and then yours) easier with KCD2 Armor and Sword Guide. Our Kingdom, where Lowell calls the game a “must-see medieval RPG,” remember to read our Kingdom’s Dearrance 2 review.

Civilization 7

The Firaxis team decided to switch things up to the latest entry in the Civilization series, showing some of the most important changes in decades. The Civilization 7-Age System was brought in to reinvigorate the genre four times more. This divides the game into three ages. Ancient, Exploring, Modern, soft-ress matches every time a new age begins. Naturally, this will bring great results and give way to new victory and victory conditions.

Take your time to see what this 4X expert thought about all the changes in the game to read the thorough Civilization 7 review written by former Associate News Editor Ed Smith.

Final Fantasy 7 Play

Of course, it’s not a new game, but our own game has had a great experience with the new PC port of Classic Final Fantasy 7, so you can’t overlook it here.

FF7 Rebirth’s exploration of “Open-World” still remains to be desired, but the RPG shines with its story and its cast of great characters. The well-known proverb may be “it’s a journey, not a destination,” but here it is the opposite. If you can spend your time past the inactive travels throughout the map, then it’s worth it if you’re waiting for you in terms of quests, lore, characters, and beats, both main and sides and emotional beats. Read Will’s Final Fantasy 7 Playback Review for more information.
