Ifa new mafia The title must follow two doctrines to create a great story. First, we arrive a few years after our predecessor. Eight people are good, five people are that many, nine people are reasonably well. Secondly, it must end badly for everyone involved. Survivors are guaranteed, but betrayal, death and heartbreak must occur. Mafia: Old Countries Observe both of these rules. The question is, as usual: how?
It starts in 1904 with Kalush or “mining boy” Enzofabara, Sicily’s Kalush or “mining boy.” There is no prospects or future, and there is only a runaway hope that there may be potentially winning both of these (towing with his friend Gaetano). Things go in an unfortunate direction when Gaetano dies due to the collapse caused by the leaking of the sulfur mine. While fleeing with Damiano Bastoni, aka Il Merlot, he challenges the land of one Don Bernardo Torisi. Il Merlo doesn’t want to retreat and incite Torrisi, who is in a ceasefire with the mine owner Don Sparado.
From there, Enzo’s start to the Trisi family and his descent into the Sicilian mafia begins. He begins a secret relationship with Torishi’s daughter Isabella and becomes friends with his nephew, Sesare. He is also filmed under the wings of Gianluca Trapani, known as Luka, Torisi’s underboss, and is also crossing his path with Tino Russo, Tino Russo.

The story involves working with Don Garante to interfere with the washing of Sparado’s money, from Enzo taking on one dangerous mission after another for Trisi, rescueping Isabella and Baron Fontarena’s son, to rescue the man who organized it. An attack by Il Merlo on Torisi leads to his death, while Don Garante and Luka are killed after a conflict, including the Barons of Sparado and Fontarena. The latter served as Torisi’s patronage, but betrayed Bernardo along with Sparado. However, Don Trici survives and sends Enzo, killing both Fontarena and Sparado in retaliation.
His reward for these, and many other killers, are sulphur mines. It’s a perfect circle moment, but it’s also eye-opening for Enzo. Except this time, he is now the king of Carusi, and as Cesare says, he appears to be profiting from exploitation. The latter later tells Enzo that he is on the rise in the world and that he “should not forget all the rest of us here.”
In the background, Isabella tells Enzo about her dream of fleeing Sicily and going to America, especially Empire Bay (and even getting pregnant with his child). Enzo leaves with her after killing the remaining Trisi’s enemies, but they are stopped by Tino and his fools. Separated from Isabella, Enzo is brought back to Torisi as Cesare laments and feels betrayed for what he has abandoned. Meanwhile, in the background, smoke can be seen from the adjacent Mount Etna.
Enzo arrives before Don. Don bets and reveals that his daughter will marry Gennaro, the new Baron Fontanella. He then tells Cesare to end Enzo’s life, but Mount Etna suddenly erupts. Enzo charges Cesare through the window and they fall down the hill. Despite not wanting to fight, they engage in a duel of bitter knifes, where Sesare reveals his bitterness against Enzo, the latter victorious. However, he tells him to stop killing Cesare and leave for himself in place of Don and his current life.
As the eruption continues, Enzo fights to reach Isabella, even through the sulphur mines, and opposes Don himself. After a bit of collapse and fleeing, he and Bernardo engage in a final knife duel, ending with Don’s defeat and death. Cesare then appeared, stretching out his hand to Enzo, spoofing friendship before hugging and stabbing him.
Enzo bleed and then died, then cut to Isabella, who escaped from Torisi’s mansion. She eventually gets up to kill Tino, but before she leaves, Cesare rolls up. Instead of stopping her, he delivers a letter from Enzo and sees Torisi’s estate rise above the flames.
Isabella then read the words of Enzo on the ship, reading how he could not undo the past, but how he helped her to go up it. After completing the letter, Empire Bay rolls into view and the game ends.
The first question is how this connects to others mafia Especially the game Mafia 2considering Empire Bay is the setting. Isabella has never been mentioned in the series so far, but some fans have been told that Enzo Conti is Mafia 3It could be her son. The name certainly fits, but perhaps this theory means he is 58 years old. Since Old country Ends in 1907 Mafia 3 It was held in 1968 and he would have been born in 1909 or 1910.
It’s all pretty open-ended and intended for a variety of reasons, but this story gives the other characters some interesting looks. We finally got some backstory at Leo Garante. Leo Garante continues to serve the Vinci family in Empire Bay after the death of his grandfather Don. He later met with Vito Scaletta, Mafia 2 Tell the main character, and he, what is the box? Then there’s Frank Vinci. Old countrywill become the main crime boss of Empire Bay (mainly thanks to Leo). Characters like Giuseppe Palminteri have even smaller cameos. Giuseppe Palminteri left Sicily to try Empire Bay. There, Joe Barbaro seeks his help in banishing Vito from his army service.
All Mafia 2 Connections, Hangar 13 may have set up a potential sequel that can focus on Isabella and Enzo’s children. It is unclear how they will affect Empire Bay. Especially because the fate of the city was sealed when Vito and Joe went on a rampage. Again, their stories unfold before it and can fork while it is happening, creating a whole new crime story.
There is also the issue of Cesare left to pick up the fragments. He chases after Isabella and tries to wipe out Enzo’s family completely. Perhaps that was his uncle who struggled to get acceptance? Is there anything really left in Torishi to guarantee such a revenge, or will he join another family to try it? Either way, he is far beyond red at this point, and if anything is proven with the history of the series, it is that pride comes before fall.
Regardless of where the story goes next, Mafia: Old Countries It stands out as more than just a prequel. As rumors claimed before the launch, it didn’t offer Don Salieri a story of origin, but it didn’t have to. Instead, it introduced yet another aspect of mafia life. There, even if it had not owned the empire, they would still fill their end in a bloody way, despite happiness and all that could have hoped. Does that cycle of violence never break or continue like in real life? Time has passed, but Enzo’s legacy continues for now.
