I wonder how to beat eternal glory – Zhao Yun in Ushan’s feathers? Zhao Yun was a well-known general during the three kingdoms of China, and he made a surprising appearance in Wuchang Fallen Feathers, proving that he is as harsh as one would expect from such a glorious figure. Fighting him is a requirement to get the best of the four endings of the game, but he is completely optional and can only be accessed if you follow all the steps to complete the White Robe Elders Quest Line.
Zhao Yun is probably the biggest challenge awaiting you on this long journey, and he can easily consume your time and dozens of mistakes. This guide will break it down accurately How to defeat eternal glorypresents the most reliable builds and saves a lot of trial and error.

How to defeat eternal glory
To defeat Zhao Yun, you need to load damage before he can. He is a very quick boss with a non-stop hit string, and the longer the fight, the more exhausted he tries to dodge a considerable move set. So, finish things as soon as possible. This means you will need to fine-tune your build or switch to a new weapon for maximum damage output. Keep these tips in mind:
Apply pressure using x
Axe-Users have the easiest time to separate Zhao Yun’s health bar before he can react. Bo Magus’ Echo The spell you gained by defeating the boss Bomagus is Very It is recommended to make up for x strikes. This spell surrounds Ushan with red bubbles and can be hit several times before it shatters, allowing Zhao Yun’s blow to tank for decent time. Attacking and dodging from time to time will allow you to build Skyborn Might and pop the spell again if necessary. Every time you activate it, Zhao Yun also takes a little damage and is pushed backwards.
If you managed to pick it up Empyrean nausea – One of the best axes in the game and first found on the roof of the worship service – you should go with it. Empyrean Greataxe boasts a great Empyrean Crash Weapon Skill that can easily stop enemies, and it is extremely beneficial to suspend Zhao Yun’s attack. This discipline skill, Rampage, can heal and breathe life from enemies. This is combined with bone needle hills to regenerate health regularly and improve survival.
Personally, I missed the Empire Great Axe at the playthrough so I went to the still available serviceable light corn Great Axe. Instead of the leech build, I softened the x with a bone needle – flame. Byrne is pretty ok with extra chip damage against Zhao Yun, but it doesn’t work well for him like Vermilion Feathers -Honglan.
Below you can see how this combination will kill Zhao Yun in about 2 minutes. Certainly, it took hours of practice to get to this point – many of which were in vain, trying to beat him with my usual one-handed sword magic tactics. (In my opinion, magic doesn’t cut it against this boss.)
Use a backstub using a longsword
If for some reason you don’t like the axis, I recommend Longsword, which is always unreliable for most of the Wuchang Fallen Feathers. Tanking with Longsword is difficult, so even if you have an echo of a Bo Magus spell, you need to be strategic with the backstab to erase it immediately.
Zhao Yun has two attacks, leaving him wide open due to the backstab. The first is when he lands after diving into the air (this movement is telegraphed by the Telltail Sound), and the second is when he summons the Trinity to emit from him. Careful timing is required, but if you can dodge his rear after each attack, you can unleash a violent strike that has been charged for massive damage. Icicles are difficult to avoid at first, but if you dodge them, Going towards Zhao Yun, you can avoid the brunt of them.
I tend to have problems with longswords so going with x was the preferred option for me. However, this strategy is 100% viable and is probably the second easiest way to defeat this boss.
Dodge the attack when Zhao Yun is in his airline breakwater position
Zhao Yun is the Spear Wielder and one of his counter moves is actually available in the Impetus repository. This is the stance of a breakwater in the air. Zhao Yun crouched down a little forward and held the spear at an angle, do not have Attack him. (Check out the image at the top of this guide to see what I mean.) He will immediately launch the counter if it is.
On this topic, it is worth noting that if Zhao Yun is wiped out, he should avoid attacking him after he falls to the ground. You might be able to put in one strike, but Zhao Yun has a speedy counter that kicks you in every time you get back to your feet, and can hit you most of the time.
Take care of his after-image
Depleting Zhao Yun’s health by 50% will make him faster and worse, like most bosses in Wuchang Fallen Feathers. But Zhao Yun also creates an unpleasant afterimage of himself that continues to run his combo, even when he is far away. Whenever you see one of Zhao Yun’s after-images, you need to adjust the timing and avoid his attack twice in a row. Unfair? yes! That’s why it is essential to lie on this old man before you get a good x for yourself and allow him to unleash all his other nonsense on you.
If you could beat eternal glory, then a heartfelt celebration Zhao Yun. You have proven that you are beating the legend.
