Where Winds Meet is Unlike Anything You’ve Ever Seen

IEverything has been difficult due to projects developed in China over the past few years. This is thanks to the success of initiatives and game science like the Chinese Hero Project Black Myth: Wukonhas continued to sell hundreds of millions of copies. Woochan: Falled feathers, Despite its performance issues, it is another notable title that brings the refinement needed for a traditional soul-like formula. And in the meantime Phantom Blade Zero Looks like the next big hit, another title has been gaining attention recently: Everstone’s Where the wind comes out.

Developed by Everstone Studio and published by Netease Games, this is an open world action RPG set that can be played for free during five dynasties and ten kingdoms. The former consisted of relatively short-lived rule in northern China, each quickly succeeding one another, while the latter consisted of ten kingdoms that existed one another in the South. The economy flourished, and the art saw some innovation, but it was also a period of cruelty in which authorities tortured and even killed civilians without justification.

In all this, you control the master of the sword named Jiang Yang running. The closed beta begins with meeting the main character from Yoshan Chen Jiksi and appears to be tasked with killing him, but they team up afterwards. It’s far from a peaceful journey as the soldiers attack the two quickly and try to get Zhenguan Jade back. The next thing will be desperately chasing the horseback, targeting the enemy with a bow and arrow, and ultimately reaching its peak in a boss battle with formless.

After a series of events (including glimpses of a mysterious gray-haired individual with a panther), players can create their own characters and choose the perks they have started or the talent for suction. Therefore, you begin to travel through this gorgeous world, starting with a homely chingge. Don’t make mistakes, Where the wind comes out It offers some truly vast environments to explore, filled with a variety of activities and quests.

It may invoke the search and atmosphere Tsushima’s Ghost Please keep it in your heart Where the wind comes outIt is Wuxia that permeates every aspect. Martial arts are respected, and events step on thin lines between reality and the fantasy. Heroes, including player characters, can do superhuman feats, including quick scaling structures, sprinting through the air, and skillfully taking on multiple enemies at once. Such an act is hero.

There are also Mystic Arts like Still Waters. This is used to temporarily slow everything around you while aiming for the bow and Tai Chi, redirecting and flying enemy momentum. The latter is one of many mystical art that players learn through understanding. In Tai Chi, you see a bear desperately trying to collect honey and learn its movement before you finally defeat it. The battle looks familiar to action-adventure veterans, leaving a perfect cuteness behind the rest of the retreat, deflection that opens the enemy to the powerful counter, and a stylish finish. Something like Tsushima’s Ghost is more systematic, but this is definitely faster paced to match the Wuxia theme.

but, Where the wind comes out It really highlights how it guides Wuxia for its story and gameplay. Consider it the equivalent of a hero’s journey, except that players have not experienced any tragedy as much as they grew up without knowing their purpose. They were able to engaging and solidify their legends by interacting with different factions, taking on quests and mastering different weapons and abilities, but they also managed to go on a more vicious path and even enter prison for their problems. Given the systemic cruelty of this period, it may encourage you to more frequently oppose persons of authority. Anyway, Everstone wants to heal enemies, turn them into your allies, and provide multiple paths through the story, from conflict to telling your path.

Unlocking new talent points allows you to unlock new abilities and mystical art, from igniting the blades and dealing more HP damage to charged and heavy attacks (the former transmit slice projectile). You can also unlock more slots, equip additional Mystic Arts and increase stats like serious damage bonuses. While the various in-game currencies, resources and materials can feel overwhelming at first, there are also new gears to unlock.

This is all actually just the beginning. Further exploration will bring you to a village surrounded by beautiful trees and bustling cities, where side activities, including sumo wrestling, will be at its peak. You can also obtain a wanted level based on the number of violations. This can become a problem if not cleared in time. In the worst case, other powerful fighters could bring the blessings of pursuing to take your head off.

It all goes back to the feel of Wuxia’s signature. This plays as a promising warrior who ends up in a bigger, more-than-life scenario of a journey to become stronger. It was something the development team worked hard to portray faithfully. The global version of Design Lead Soul told Techradar “I prefer to create this atmosphere where I can experience the Wuxia Spirit of Wuxia Spirit instead of verbalizing culture.”

“We have made you experience the happiness, sadness and excitement of that era in this world of waxia.” Its commitment to the central theme guarantees that. Where the wind comes out Unlike other action RPGs. Of course, the scale doesn’t make you laugh either. Qingne has returned from previous testing, but the final closed beta is looking at Kaifeng. This is 1.5 times bigger and busy.

In preparation for a global launch, Everstone is working to convey the various terms of the game to non-Chinese players (along with the English voice over). As Lead Designer Chris Lyu told WCCFTECH, it streamlines the tutorial system and revamps the UI based on feedback from the tests. The team is also working to implement complex details without compromising the core atmosphere.

Where the wind comes out

Where the wind comes out It has already been downloaded over 30 million times. It will be released later this year for iOS, Android, PC and PS5, and will serve as the latter six-month time-limited exclusive. Everstone Studio promises to explore 150 hours of single-player content and over 20 different regions. I’d like to know how a full story works, especially as developers promise to weave “inside the core open world experience” and “seamlessly into the world itself.” This includes “a carefully hidden fragment of the story.” This will slowly unfold “sweeping epics” before the player (if you choose to pursue them, of course).

A seamless cooperative of four players is also supported, including the option to summon other players when struggling with bosses. However, we’re going even further by implementing guilds engaged in conflicts, multiplayer dungeons, raids and even duelings. I’m not sure how much of this works yet, but it’s still fascinating.

Without anything else, this beta was even more excited for the full global release. The sense of exploring the world and making our own choices as old martial artists has become either a famous hero or a lightly spun outlaw, beautifully realized and we can’t wait to experience everything it has to offer.
