witth The dying light: beast The Kyle Crane adventure continues now, and this time things are very interesting. His noble goals from his past appearances gave way to a more personal and darker revenge against the Baron. And of course, he gets some new tricks on his sleeves to help him.
Techland’s streamlined approach to trial and error formulas is sure to bring smiles to those already familiar with the work, but beast If this is your first time, it can be a little overwhelming The dying light title. But there is no fear. We spent quite a bit of time at Caster Woods and have put together some tips and tricks to make things easier for you.
Let’s get started!
1. Be smart when taking on infected people
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfo1qgi1xdi
Finding large packs of infected people seems like a convenient way to pick up much needed resources, but given how valuable they are early in the game, taking them all at once is a surefire way to hinder your progress. Unless you’re playing in Easy Mode, you lose XP every time you delete it, and it’s quickly become a very frustrating grind.
However, keeping one of the two infected away from the pack and thinning out the numbers and making the rest more manageable is a great way to get things going. They are difficult to kill and quite cumbersome when having a backup, so it’s best to get the attention of the goon and runners first.
2. Unlock Beast Mode Control as quickly as possible
Early on in Beast Skill Tree, you have the option to activate Beast mode whenever you think you need it. It is a skill that can change the way you approach different situations in the game. Otherwise you’ll be restricted to filling up the Beast meter and directing it when you have access to Kyle’s extremely powerful movements.
To do this, we recommend prioritizing missions to fight chimera in early games before taking on any other side content or activities. Controlling when entering Beast mode is tactical goldmine in this title and can be annoyed a lot of the early games.
3. If you’re in doubt, drop a kick!
Like the Beast Control skill, Kyle’s combat skill tree comes with dropkicking ability quite early on. Honestly, it’s a lifesaver, as a well-placed kick can send infected flights to each other and bring life long enough to inflict serious damage. Learning how to use it well is not so challenging. You will soon find yourself defeating smaller ones easily and getting out of the fight faster.
4. Use a UV flashlight
And by that we will then use hell! We all know that infected displays are the only known weakness, so it makes sense to abuse this underrated tool to the fullest.
Like Droplic, it’s a great way to get some breathing chambers and can easily become a few hits after an infected person has been surprised and retreated from its glow. It will save our lives many times and ensure the same thing for you.
5. Use the environment
Kyle’s weapons, skills and tools aren’t the only things that help him get an edge over the threats he faces. For example, many environments lie gas cylinders that can be shot or picked up to ignite manually before throwing them into infected groups due to some major damage.
However, I recommend the latter approach, as ammo can be a bit difficult to recover, especially in the early hours of the game.
6. The beauty of the beast
Chimera is one of the most difficult battles in the game, but for good reason. Taking them and defeating them is not only part of the game’s main story, but also rewarding Kyle with much-needed GSB. This allows him to improve his skills.
The beast’s skills are incredible and can even destroy and gain momentum if infected people. They can change any situation with your favor, especially if you are free to activate Beast Mode. With a few unlocked locks, you can become very creative with how you approach the fight, so make chimera your priority.
7. Enable automatic sprinting
An option that we recommend enabling early is Auto Sprint. This turns out to be a game changer as far as we cross the beautifully crafted world from Techland. You don’t have to click on the left stick every time you need extra speed and you won’t lose stamina for running, so this will save you a lot of time as you go from place to place.
It can also make these nasty volatiles much easier for the night. When you say you want all the speed you can get, trust us, you will even bring your sense of smell!
8. Use firearms sparingly
Your guns are a valuable addition to your arsenal, but their limited ammunition means going to burn all your guns (intentional pun) brings the chances of realizing you’re off the bullet when you need it most.
For example, I found myself surrounded by infected people while standing on a truck. There was a gas cylinder on the ground, but trying to pick it up would mean a certain death. It was a shame that the bullets were pumped out from the SMG about 30 minutes ago.
Using your guns wisely is a great way to keep yourself in the fight for much longer than our own stupid approach.
9. Continue crafting!
If you’re not constantly jumping into stock to see what you can create after taking on infections for a few people, you’re preparing yourself for a line failure. For example, all valuable items, such as bandages that restore health, can be easily created on the go.
Create a table with safe points and check out the new blueprints of weapons and gear. You’ll also know what to look for before pinning one of the two.
10. Use Survival Sense
Early game missions imposing tracking certain beasts through traces of handicraft in the world. Unfortunately, we spent quite a bit of time raking around every inch of the survey zone before we realized that clicking on the right stick could send a pulse that would make things much easier.
It is a mechanic tested and tested in modern games and is there to make life easier for you. This is very valuable for such an experience beastAll the benefits you get are where you get through blood, sweat, and even tears.
11. Try switching between the kick button and the jump button
The default control scheme is perfectly appropriate, but I found that switching between the kick and jump buttons makes both traversal and combat much more intuitive. Your mileage may vary depending on your personal preferences, but give it a try. If you prefer the original layout, you can always switch it.
12. Exploration and mission alternatives
beast Creating a Beeline for a story mission early in the game could result in significant punishment in the later second half as well. Don’t forget to grind your resources by exploring dark zones that will help you fight infected zones and create all the supplies you need before heading towards mission markers.
Similarly, they raid several convoys for ammunition for guns, and activate some safe zones of the world to facilitate travel. Caster Woods is designed to balance exploration and storytelling, and you are responsible for achieving that balance based on how you want to play. It’s a pretty map with a lot to do and exploring it is, in most cases, worth the effort.
13. Choose your difficulties wisely
We don’t lighten this advice. Playing the game with the most difficult and hardest was a cruel runaway through the woods of casters who saw them being sent back to the last checkpoint more often than we would like to admit. Throwing it down to normal made things easier, but once you start to get used to the game and get a sense of your playing style, I recommend starting with the story and ramping up.
14. Loot all murders!
Make sure you plunder it every time you defeat an enemy! Supplies are the difference between life and death in this game, and you will need them to create better gear, weapons and tools. Having valuable items means you don’t have to spend hours farming on them later, so it takes a few seconds to check all the corpses you encounter.
15. Use your vehicle as a quick killing tool
Whenever you see infected hordes and available vehicles, you can drive around as many times as possible! It’s a great way to gain resources and supplies, and it’s really fun to unleash and undo your favorite memories of Karmageddon with just zombies.
With just a few solid operations on the truck, you will find that you will flush it out along with the supplies you need for your work. Be careful when driving as you can find more fuel along the way, as rewards can increase very significantly.
And it wraps things up. These tips should give you a very solid start in the early games and beyond. Of course, we saved the best in the end: don’t forget to enjoy! If there are any ideas that we think can help fellow players, we’d love to hear them. Let’s attack us with comments and take down the baron together.
