If your backlog hasn’t been played yet dozens of play but not moaning at the weight of a respected game, the past few months probably haven’t helped things. This year’s rookie slate is amazing and looks like one of the most stacked Game of the Year battles already. What can exacerbate the feeling of backlog panic is the new steam sales. yes, Steam autumn sale Now, Valve is knocking dollars from some of the biggest and best PC games of 2025, and it’s been around for thousands of years.
If you have a list of finalists for games you want to pick up cheaply, now is the time to check out the steam pages to see if they are featured. But for those who want to find the surprises buried in fall sales, this is it. I sifted through the Mountain of Deal to choose the top 10 at once, the juicyness of the discount, the quality of the game’s layers, the current relevance, or, in some cases, all three at once.

Blue Prince (25% off)
Let’s start things with Real Bang, my personal leader at Blue Prince, this year’s GOTY race. Certainly, Silksong and Hades 2 1.0 arrived with a fanfare. Clair Obscur Expedition 33 (currently 10% off on sale, by the way) is a masterpiece. Kingdom Come Derverance 2 sets the bar for RPG depth and immersion. But the Blue Prince stole my heart. That crazy baffling is totally addictive – challenging, appetizing, amazing, and ultimately rewarding. The layered under the gameplay is an unexpectedly fascinating story, and with ample attention, there are also some great world buildings. I couldn’t write a review of Blue Prince, but if I had, our shining 9/10 score would probably be a dazzling 10.
Sand Dune Awakening (20% off)
Next is another Dune Awakening of the biggest new game of 2025. There have been brave attempts before, but this feels like a game that the Dune franchise always deserves. As an MMO-inspired survival game, you will fall on Arrakis along with dozens of other players, and be tasked with harvesting and transporting spices, avoid succumbing to other players and harsh elements. To survive, you need to strategically build a foundation that can withstand enemy attacks. Fall sales have now come 20% off Dune’s Awakening, lowering the price to $39.99/£33.59 – if you like dunes, a challenging survival game, or both, it’s probably well spent.
Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 (50% off)
Despite being just one year old and firmly established as one of the best co-op games these days, Space Marine 2 is currently half priced at Steam Autumn Sale. wild. I’m grateful that people new to space may be put off by the Warhammer 40K Monica, but this meat third-person shooter can guarantee that it’s an absolute riot even if they can’t convey the terminology from the Trigon. Excellent campaigns, plenty of PVE modes, competitive experience awaits you and the companions you want to bring with you for the ride. Space Marine 2 is packed with plenty of additional post-launch modes, maps, weapons and armor sets, but there’s more to come as developer Saber Interactive has confirmed that second year content is ongoing. Get it for just $29.99/£27.49 with a 50% discount.
1800 (90% off)
Here is an incredible discount for a great city builder, in time for the highly anticipated sequel. Ubisoft’s long-running Anno series is heading into a virgin era as soon as the Anno 117 arrives (and it’s pretty good, judging from what I played on Gamescom this year). The Anno 1800 allows you to create vast cities and prosperous civilizations in the Industrial Revolution. There are beautiful, detailed and historically accurate types of buildings to build, focusing on many resources and industries. Whether you’re a strategy game fan who wants to challenge yourself, or you just want to sit down and relax and relax without restrictions and create the 19th century city of your dreams, the choice is yours.

Roadcraft (25% off)
Like Blue Prince, another great new game of the year reached the lowest price on Steam thanks to a 25% discount. However, Roadcraft is a rather different itchy. Created by the same people who made Snowrunner and Mudrunner, RoadCraft is one of the most realistic, complex yet satisfying games. Essentially, they own a company specializing in restructuring critical infrastructure in the wake of natural disasters. With a fleet of machines, including everything from trucks to cranes to bulldozers, and bulldozers, you will need to clear, adjust, repair and build across a wide range of scenarios. It may not be for everyone, but if you click with you (as with the ED that wrote the 9/10 RoadCraft review), the current price is worth $29.99/£26.24.
Cord Vein (90% off)
Popularly known as “Anime Dark Souls,” Code Bane may not immediately attack you as a game inspired by the scenes of you. But that is definitely the case. In this Bandai Namco RPG, you’ll be awaited by brawl-focused combat, intimidating bosses, open world exploration and a dark atmosphere. Code Vein does not force you to face only your enemies, but you can choose a partner to come with you on your trip. $5.99/£3.99 is not only a ridiculous price to pay for one of the best soul slicks that come from outside the soft wall, but it’s also a good time to give it a try, as the much-anticipated sequel is on the horizon. Code Vein 2 will do some big swings with the addition of a flashy gold bike for time travel and traversal, but playing the first game will help you get used to the combat and atmosphere before it launches in January.

dredge (50% off)
When you imagine the best horror games, you imagine the creepy, abandoned towns, the presence of demons who love the fear of jumping, and some fierce gore. What you don’t think about is a quaint fishing village and a bouncing boat that trolls for some mackerel. It’s exactly the beginning of the dredge, and then when you stay in the ocean after sunset with Lovecraft’s sea monster and the hostile and twisted experiences that will really scare you. This is one of my favorite horror games. Because it can smack your heart without relying on your typical ratios and themes. Plus, it’s also a truly compelling and satisfying fishing sim that will encourage you to upgrade your gear and explore new waters in search of bigger, more expensive or rarer fish. At 50% off, this indie gem is only $12.49/£10.99-An absolute stolen.
latemal (30% off)
Another favorite of the year, Atomfall, was a truly pleasant surprise from Rebellion, the people behind the Sniper Elite series. Give this first-person apocalyptic survival RPG to fallout and keep you from putting you in a vast, devastated city. Instead, they would navigate the British countryside surrounding a power plant where the experiment was very wrong. It’s your job to understand what happened, who is responsible, and which of the Atomfall characters are on their side. It’s outside of Goty’s conversation, but it’s still really fun. I recommend anyone who loves the atmosphere of Fallout to spin, especially if it’s 30% off.

Old World (90% off)
Civilization 7 is a rather divisive entry into the historic strategy game series, and if you’re in a “overwhelming” camp, here’s an incredibly cheap alternative that might bring a smile back to your face. The old world of 2022 is still strong with fresh updates and expansions, offering a civilised experience that builds a prosperous empire on HEX-based maps. The big difference is that it puts it a lot The weight of your character, whom they have chosen to form an alliance and maintain or bring their families. It can soften or even marry members of the nobles of a rival kingdom, and bring bonuses to your own settlement. With a huge 90% discount, you can give Old World a spin for just $3.99/£3.49.
Trepang2 (60% off)
This last place was mostly filmed by the brilliantly brutal fate of the Dark Ages (33% off if you’re interested), but it highlights the underrated, often overlooked Trepang 2 over this time. Slow-Mo Bullet Time is one of the best video game mechanics, and while there are many opportunities for it in Trepang 2, in most cases you can run through terrible dark levels thanks to smooth movements and gunplay. As you go, when you unravel a fairly decent storyline, more heavy metals than your sand amount will be blown into your eardrum. This is an FPS gaming riot and you should definitely grab it for $11.99/£9.99.

That’s for my Steam Autumn Sale Roundup. From single-player games that get you hooked for dozens of hours to multiplayer games where you can dive in with friends, there’s something a little bit about everyone here. However, it’s a surprising discount of thousands. If you want to discover more gems, troll Steam.
